Happy Macro Monday!

This week’s theme: Magnetic

My refrigerator is completely covered with magnets.😅

On a brightly painted piece of wood a small button magnet is mounted allowing it to be a rather pretty fridge adornment.

Thank you all for visits, faves and comments - greatly appreciated!

For the Macro Mondays challenge "Fake". The pumpkin might be fake but the recipe for pumpkin pie is authentic. It's from the ancient Betty Crocker cook book I brought with me to Germany as a young bride.

All magnets from the refrigerator Vas'ka dragged up on the top of the fridge. This one is the last and to strong for his paw.

Thank you all for visits, faves and comments - greatly appreciated!

I just love a fridge!

A fake Ladybird beetle sitting on a real leaf. There are two ways to tell this Ladybird is fake. 1. It looks nothing like a real Ladybird and 2. As hard as I've tried I've not been able to make a normal Ladybird stay on a fridge door holding vital shopping lists simply because they don't contain magnets :-)

As fake as fake can be

what you see can not

possibly be!

A magnetic bug

is at home on a rug

but not on a leaf

as it's beyond belief.

Made by a friend of ours in Winnipeg Canada out of re-cycled stuff.

Paul and Lisa had been married for five years, but when it came to the fridge, they were at war.

“Why is there half an avocado wrapped in foil like a shrunken head?” Paul asked, baffled.

Lisa snatched it away. “That’s for my smoothie! You always throw things out too soon!”

Paul held up an almost-empty jam jar. “And this? Why is it still here?”

“You can still scrape some out!” Lisa huffed.

Then Paul’s eyes narrowed. “And where’s my ice cream?”

Lisa grinned mischievously. “I had to save it from you. You inhale it like a vacuum!”

Paul groaned, but before Lisa could gloat, he grabbed her hand, spun her into a dramatic twirl, and dipped her low like a salsa dancer. “Confess! You ate it all, didn’t you?” he teased, his face inches from hers. Lisa, breathless and laughing, wrapped her arms around his neck. “Maybe. But you’ll never prove it.”

As they straightened up, still grinning, Paul held up the expired yogurt like a trophy. "I think this thing just applied for citizenship."

Lisa wrinkled her nose. "Okay, maybe we need a new fridge… or at least a peace treaty."

Paul smirked. "Fine. But the ice cream stays under my jurisdiction!"

Lisa stepped closer, eyes gleaming. "And the avocado head remains sacred!"

They locked eyes, the air thick with unspoken challenges. Then Paul stole a kiss quick, playful, victorious.

Lisa gasped, then laughed. "Truce… for now."

The fridge war would rage on, but at least, it came with a little heat. 💞

**My heart, my words. Please respect them.**

Dear reader,

These words you are reading right now, whether it's a poem, a short story, or a thought is a piece of my soul. I write with passion, each word flowing from my heart, deeply connected to me. My writings are not just words; they are alive, carrying my emotions and essence within them. are not just words they are alive, carrying my emotions and essence within them.

If you plan to take them without my permission, know this: you are also taking a piece of my soul. And with every stolen word, I will always be present within the lines you use.

So be mindful… You never know what lies hidden between the lines, for words hold a power that goes far beyond the visible.💫

Colder and shorter days in the winter means more time indoors for our furry friends. Nothing like hanging out on the fridge to relieve boredom and garner attention.

Blueberries are its passion... it seems

This is a close-up photo of the reflection on the fridge of the LED lantern and the refracted light shining through the Suntory whisky bottle.

I thought this colorful display of fridge magnets would make an interesting mosaic...

you know....one can never have too many... ;-)

Pun intended, I'm afraid. Yup, it's come to this. These are very troubling and frightening times in which we find ourselves - and it's not just in Canada. The threats are real!

I spent most of the day gardening, so come tea time, it was a case of open of the fridge and see what there was.

Our dinner sort of grew, as I kept adding bits to the plates :))) His is on the left and mine on the right.
