Yorkshire Air Museum's Halifax looking very atmospheric at last year's Timeline Events' nightshoot. An airframe I've wanted to photograph for a while, and the smoke machine certainly did not disappoint.

As it is black fly season here you have to get out and get your 365 when you are least likely to be swarmed. They like me and they take chunks out of me.
Put the camera on shutter priority and moved up and down as the vehicle went up the road.
I appreciate each and every visit, comment and fave here on my little corner of the world as seen through my lens.

Since I shot and processed this on Friday the 13th I figured I would try some dark grungy 'spooky' hdr processing. This was taken inside of the St. Andrews Cathedral. Luckily I scored big time and went at a time where it was completely empty. Thanks to rubbah_slippahs for the heads-up on this inside shot. Many more from here to come in the near future.
No symmetry flips added. I actually shot 9 exposures for the top and bottom but decided to only go with 3 for each. Tone mapped top and bottom from 3exp, then blended parts of the -2 and +2 back on to it. Manually stitched the chairs and ground on to to top photo to make the vertorama.
What Dangers lurk in the Fog of SL ... when after a long shift at the hospital a Random Boat ride on the Blake ... hmm what can Possibly happen???

Macro Mondays theme for May 27th: Superstition
One says the 13 and also Friday the 13th brings misfortune, or one should be careful. My wife has a birthday on the 13th of December and this is a Friday this year. But for us this is a lucky day.
No bad omen.
it's a mini calendar and the photo is less than 3 ",
I use a stencil for the measurement.
These little fellas have decided to once again come back to the feeders. A sure sign that fall and winter will be upon us before too long.
I may not have time to answer or acknowledge your visit here or any comments you leave right away but, rest assured, I will try to get back as quick as I can. I will thank you now in advance.
Happy Friday the 13th. This was the painting this day gave me walking along the lake this evening! Enjoy your weekend my friends! ~

A pleasantly creepy place if there ever was one.
And a fine place to test my luck on Friday the 13th...

So I had a really bad week. Minor falls and impacts accompanied with headaches and broken treasures. I did get to have a great time Friday night watching a midnight showing of the original Friday the 13th at the Kentucky Theater. A giant WooHoo!
