Today was a welcome break in the rain and overcast. But by evening, the clouds were moving back in. We'll see what tomorrow holds. The little leftmost bump on the horizon is Mt. Iliamna and closer in towards the center is Mt. Redoubt.

Painting - Acyrlic on Canvas 18 x 18 inches. This is a scene on Friday night at Degraves Street, the famous destination in the City for alfresco dining and street arts. A famous lane way where both visitors and people from Melbourne's CBD unwind after a hard week.
Degraves features numerous bars, shops, cafes and restaurants. The art deco architecture, dining umbrellas and café canopies mean the street is often described as having a Parisian or European flavour. Redevelopment of the Mutual Store in 2006 has further enhanced the lane with additional shops.
Degraves Street with the Majorca Building at the street's northern end, Many of the taller, older buildings were also converted into loft style apartments in the 1990s, adding further life to the area. Street art and graffiti are commonplace, whilst buskers/street performers also frequent the laneway, adding to its atmosphere
