The one major tourist stop made on this trip was a Sunday afternoon visit to the blue house in Coyocan which Frida's father bought and which was where Frida wa living when she died. Now you can see it is a museum. It was very crowded that day, Dia del Muerte weekend of the year of the 100th aniversary of Frida Kahlo's birth. As you might suspect, no photos were allowed inside.
