After the shops close in Bangkok's Chinatown, restaurants open on the sidewalks in front of the shops and into the streets. This one is Lek & Rut's. The restaurant across the street serves basically the same things but the workers wear green shirts.

saw this guy peddling seafood when i noticed something moving inside a bucket he was carrying. i checked to see what it was and voila, fresh crabs. here he is the peddler with his fresh sea crabs

At Tokyo's fish market, two workers carefully have cut a large fresh tuna under the light of a hanging lamps. Small paper signs covered in handwritten Japanese characters, create a traditional and lively atmosphere.
