Today, I went along with Rika’s craving of fresh button mushrooms in pizza as she kept saying it’s a nice ingredient, which she had tried from Mache Restaurant. Um…not a bad introduction, the pizza was yummy :)
In addition, we bought young coconuts to wash down our pizza too. It was really a refreshing combination instead of just tea or coffee most of the time :)
Sydney Fishmarkets. I was severely disappointed--I expected markets like France that were massive, where individual fishermen sold their wares. The building was so big from the outside.
Turns out you can't go into most of the building and it is just big companies selling the fish they've bought from someone else. How sad.
cherry tomatoes & a zucchini!
this has been a screwy summer,
this time last year i was swimming in tomatoes.
i've got tons on the vine, but none are near ripe.
it's just been a handle full every couple days so far.
here's to warmer days ahead.

On Wednesdays they turn the entire City Hall area into a huge farmers market with all kinds of goodies. The fresh vegetables are so hard to resist; we just sample them all.
Farmers Market Fresh Flowers sign. Fresh flowers for 25 cents. Rustic country feel with and old shed, window with watering cans and red window boxes. There is an old garden ornament of a little farm boy sporting a straw hat.

Made some fresh wheat noodles for my Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. I forgot to take a picture of the noodle soup!
