Though not the best shot, I was able to capture Hank's swaggering stride. The pad of his foot indicate he was in motion.

Due to the stillness of the camera and the very high shutter speed, there is no blur on either the subject or background. The picture remains well lit due to the high ISO.

Morning Walk December 10th 2012. Weather that can't make up its mind, one day cold the next warm, dusting of snow, then some rain, one day the lake freezes over, the next day the warm wind breaks it up. Freeze, thaw, break up cycles have been going on since November 8th, over a month of meteorological indecision. With only a couple of weeks to go before Christmas I'm hoping it settles down and gives us a little white stuff for the big day. Certainly with fog, freezing rain and lack of light this morning, it wasn't the easiest for photographs again. Not a bad morning for walking though, great for listening to the clatter of the broken ice as the wind pushed it along.
