Another of Heston's riffs on the absurdity of taking the Bible's instructions literally. Part of the irony here is that if you practice the voluntary poverty required by Jesus, the mundane world around you will label you a tramp and throw your tail into the poorhouse. So much for Christian charity and compassion.
