The Arkansas State Capitol lawn has long hosted a Christmastime nativity. For the past few years, the Freethinker's society has fought for the right to place a Solstice display on the lawn also.

I'm not a lawyer, but if my understanding of church/state separation is correct, the solstice display's presence is more constitutionally correct than the nativity.

Too bad the Freethinker's display is so ugly!
