Normally it's bulk promotional stuff - possibly interesting, seldom awe-inspiring. I have, however, seen them give out semi-decent stuff like entire seasons of Xena, Hercules, and Highlander (albeit on VHS) before -- just last year, in fact -- so it's usually worth a look.
