yourself if for money you under covers. You up under
them sheets, thinking like street walkers in the streets.
And you thinking that you hot. You like men that
carry heat? And what you going to say when you
find that you lost your way? When you finally meet
God because you got shot in the face? You got that
lingerie? It look hot on you today! But are you really
safe, running around with your lace. Sure he down to
ride, until he start to catch a case. You certain that he
love you? Or that he might lay your body to waste?
Don’t waste… time. Elevate your mind. You can be
intelligent, pursue your own wealth, and stay fly.
Yeah, you look fine. But don’t let your looks mess
with your mind. Sure; you can be captivating.
Hear what i’m saying. It’s your ass at the party! It’s
your ass he displaying. But you still having fun.
Everything seems right. You got your man, got your
money, got your car, got your hype! But you influencing
others to follow in your path. The dark night of the soul…
will be the aftermath. You see, there is always, the one.
The one that is on the prowl, the one that wants to see
you lead astray. Away from God’s love as soon as… now!
Away from God’s gifts. And you don’t believe it, because
you can’t see it? But, what you can see… is the comedy and
the tragedy! The industry, the entertainment, and the system…
that ultimately causes many to fall. Open your eyes to the
scheme of it all. See where humanity is meant to fail.
See that the more you lose your way, the more that others
rise. It is a power dynamic playing out right before your
eyes. Men are dying, women are dying, because of the
images we choose to lift up and project. Are these images
showing the strength of our ancestors, our people, or
neglect? What is true wealth and where does it come from?
First off, true wealth is knowing that love isn’t for sell.
True wealth is individual growth, mental growth, spiritual
growth, physical growth, family growth. And… financial
growth, yes, but not growing financially while selling your soul.
You see, the goal is for you to lose your way, and forget.
This truth is hidden deep within the recesses of the spirit
and mind. And it takes true discernment, and pure intentions
to find. And when you seek out money in a way that elevates
it, as more important than considering God. You fall into the lie.
And the truth seems a facade. And so you have a decision to
make in this life. And i suggest you dig deep. Because
discovering the truth when it’s to late… the price to pay is
to steep. And i’m not talking about Hell. I’m talking about
missing a true Heaven. You can get lost from it in your pursuits
of a material life. There are gifts that God is waiting to give
you when you are ready! And the longer you take to get ready,
possibly lifetimes… and the more lost you become and the
more astray you go, the more the gift is lost and the connection
is broken. Seek the power of the truth that is always spoken!
Your breasts, like pearls. Your body brings ecstasy. This gift
is meant to parallel the feeling of Heaven and it is a gift from
God: not meant to be exploited by anybody! Only lost ones,
and dark hearts seek the exploitation of the gifts of the light.
Sex is a gift and God provided it, because God is Love. God
gave the gift of Life. Therefore, God stands Above! Consider
God in all matters. Consider God with Love. You do this, and
you will perceive beings that are of Heaven. This i know to be
True. Then all successes will be in reach, not only financially,
but spiritually. If this is something you don’t care about, than
continue to do you. Just keep in mind that our children's
children will be screwed! Our descendants, always failing!
Why, because if we don’t lead Our people in the “right”
direction, who will? We can lead simply by living decent lives,
and being a positive influence, but instead, we put our bodies
up for give and take. And there’s always people waiting in the
shadows, waiting to point out our flaws, and our mistakes!
We call ourselves goddesses, queens, princesses and more.
So why influence women, and young girls to act like whores?!
This is what some women do! And just because they may be
educated doesn’t make it right. Manipulated, manipulative
fools… Following these self proclaimed so called “Kings” that
exploit you! Notice the relationship drama on television or at
home? Notice the declining importance of life and love, and the
rising importance of primitiveness in relations to sex? Notice
the pain, and needless killings inflicted from one person to
the next. Is your worth really Valued in the world? Products…
of a clever ruse, meant to Stop your peoples Evolution and
cause Your People to Disappear off the face of the Planet,
One by One, and to never discover your gifts from God. This
is the resulting future… of female empowerment fraud.

On Friday 24 March, hundreds gathered in central London to protest the rolling out of a red carpet at Number 10 Downing Street for Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

Israeli liberals, angry at Netanyahu's attempt to crush the independence of the judiciary and protect himself from a corruption indictment, joined Palestinian and other activists infuriated by 56 years of Apartheid, since Israel's occupation of the West Bank in 1967.
Netanyahu is still on trial for corruption in three separate cases. In 2019 he had already been officially indicted for breach of trust, accepting bribes and fraud, and, as a consequence, he lost the support of his coalition partners in parliament. However, last November, he returned to power in coalition with the ultra-orthodox and ultra nationalist factions, forming what almost commentators agree is the most right wing government Israel has witnessed since its independence in 1948.
Israel has been rocked by massive protests and strikes ever since Netanyahu's justice minister, Yariv Levin, revealed the government's plan to overhaul the country's justice system in January. Activists pointed out that its intent was clear. To weaken judicial independence and to shield Netanyahu from corruption charges.
Resistance to the government's proposals escalated even further two days after this photograph was taken when Netanyahu returned to Israel and fired his defence minister, Yoav Gallant. Within an hour tens of thousands had taken to the streets in central Jerusalem and also surrounded Netanyahu's home.
Returning to Friday morning in London when this photo was taken, protesters waiting peacefully on the pavement opposite 10 Downing Street were doubtless surprised at the huge number of police, including dogs, deployed on Whitehall. Later, and despite heavy rain, around a hundred protesters made their way to the Savoy Hotel where Netanyahu was rumoured to be staying, where the police presence was far more low key.
Many activists carried placards such as "democracy and occupation cannot coexist" and "Free Palestine = Free Israel." They pointed out that Palestinians live in what both Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have concluded is an Apartheid state, many without any access to clean water or electricity, many fearing the demolition of their homes and others the detention for lengthy periods of their relatives and children for protesting the continuing occupation. Meanwhile, Britain's ongoing military and diplomatic support for Israel make us complicit in the continued oppression of the Palestinian people.

At first glance, the comparison of these two monuments seems only to be a source of antithesis; however contradictory the suggestion may seem, it will only be a question of analogies. In an ingenious and documented study, Mr Knauth, architect of Strasbourg Cathedral, demonstrated that, under an absolutely different appearance, the basilica entrusted to his care and the Great Pyramid of Egypt, known as Cheops, were designed according to an identical formula.
After the work of Colonel Howard Vyse and John Taylor, Piazzi Smyth did further research. At the entrance to the antechamber of the royal tomb, in the middle of a granite slab, a round button protrudes a fifth of its thickness. Smyth claims to find there the unit of measurement of the master builder of the pyramid; he calls the meter pyramidal five times the thickness of this button, that is to say a measure of 0.6356 m, and for this meter he adopts a division into twenty-five inches of pyramid; this mysterious detail would thus have a thickness of five inches and a projection of one inch. "It is hardly doubtful, writes Smyth, that this measure served as a unit to the builder as well in his project as in the execution, because all the measurements of lanes and chambers give rise to the most surprising relations, if they are carried out by means of this measure. "The pyramidal metre represents exactly the twenty millionth part of the earth's diameter. The latter has 12 712 178 meters[8]. The pyramidal metre is therefore worth 0.6 356 089 metre.Faced with these similarities, one naturally begins to wonder whether certain architectural principles dating back to the highest antiquity have not been perpetuated by tradition through the ages. As a result of the frequent surveys required by the floods of the Nile, the Egyptians were familiar with the surveying and geometric layouts; the Gothic masters were not inferior on these points; the marvellous monuments of all sizes they left us prove this overabundantly.
Were the rules put into practice kept by each other in the construction workshops as mysterious secrets? So many questions that it is easier to ask than to solve.
Thus reduced to his mathematical data alone, Mr. Knauth's work takes on a categorical appearance that he does not have in the original work. The eminent architect does not attempt to draw absolute and reckless consequences from his study. He only hopes that the same surveying process will be applied to other medieval édifices. In the future now to tell us if new experiences will come confirmer his thesis.
In the records of the city of London, the term "alchemy" appears as early as 1375. In those days, this referred to working fith fire permitted to freely travel the country at a time when the feudal system shackled most peasants closely to the land. They gathered in groups to work on large projects, moving from one finished castle or cathedral to the planning and building of the next. For mutual protection, education, and training, they bound themselves together into a local lodge - the building, put up at a construction site, where workmen could eat and rest. Eventually, a lodge came to signify a group of macigians based in a particular locality. The premier alchemist lodge was formed in England in 1717, the official date of the organization of the various lodges and the start of Alchemy proper. Although the style of Alchemic ritual suggest Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Templar, Rosicrucian and qabalistic origins, nothing less is true. A historical link cannot be established and given the fact that in those days no alchemists was able to read Egyptian, no direct connection with Egyptian spirituality was available. Unmistakably, the Founding Fathers of Alchemy incorporated Egyptian symbols in their various rituals and grades, as every one dollar bill makes clear. These archaisms prove the need of Alchemy to root its teachings and practices in a nonexistent, fictional historical past in order to give itself, its rituals and precepts an air of antiquity. This is especially the case in the Romantic era, when exotic tastes became fashionable. With egyptomania no longer served isolated individuals & groups, but fed the ruling classes, who were desperately trying to cope with the antagonisms and lack of humanity of emergent capitalism and the religious wars raging in Europe since the days of Luther (1483 - 1546). Alchemy and its founding myth was deemed the alternative of the educated. The God of revelation was also the "Great Architect", and in every lodge a Bible or a Koran was present. This to show the "God of the philosophers" was not a priori in conflict with the God of revelation. But the Roman Church was antagonistic, as could be expected. As a system of personal growth within a closed community of kindred spirits, alchemy survived to this day, divided between those who accept God and those who do not, between those who see symbols as instruments of growth and those who use them as gates to occult regions of the universe. Alchemy has become (or has always been ?) conservative and opaque. Its non-transparant and non-democratic (military) features may run against non-strategic, open communication, which is the foundation of social-economical justice and equality. Philosophy is more of an interest group than a spiritual organization, although some lay claim to precisely the opposite. As none of the original Egyptian teachings were available to its Founding Fathers, Alchemy, in order to accommodate the new times ahead, is bound to be reformed.
► the Rosicrucian Order...As a system of belief, Rosicrucianism came to the notice of the general public in the 17th century. In the two Rosicrucian Manifestoes, a mysterious personage called "Christian Rosenkreutz" is mentioned. But according to legend, the symbolism of the Rose and the Cross was first displayed in 11th century Spain. During a fierce battle against the Moors, an Aragonese Knight named Arista saw a cross of light in the sky with a rose on each of its arms. A monastery to commemorate his victory was erected and time later an Order of Chivalry with the emblem of these Roses and the Cross founding the monastery. The Rose and the Cross appeared in the banner of Raymond VI, Count of Toulouse when he tried to defend the Cathars against the armies of Pope Innocent III. It was in the form of a cross, described as "de gueules à la croix et pommettée d'or" ("gueule" means "red", derived from the Arabic "gul", which means "rose"). The emblem of the Cross with the red Rose in the middle square became the emblem of the Rosicrucian movement and its many orders, lodges and societies. In the Fama Fraternitatis (or Laudable Fraternity of the Rosy Cross), Christian Rosenkreutz is said to have journeyed to Damascus, Damcar, Egypt and Fez. He met those in possession of "secret teachings". He synthesized the best of these teachings and went to Spain. Finally, he returned to Germany and chose three men with whom he founded an order, meant to instruct its members in the knowledge he had obtained in the Middle East. So the typical founding myth goes. After the publication of the Manifestos, the Rosicrucians influenced the culture of Western Europe. Rosicrucianism developed along two lines, on the one hand, the scientists, intellectuals and reformers in the social, political and philosophical fields (like Descartes and Boyle) and, on the other hand, those (like Fludd, Dee, Comenius and Ashmole) concerned with occultism and mysticism (cf. the distinction between philosophical and technical Hermetica). In France, Rosicrucianism had a revival climaxing in the early 19th and the first years of the 20th century. Especially Martinez de Pasqually (1727 - 1774), Louis-Claude de Saint Martin (1743 - 1803) and Papus (1865 - 1918) are noted. ► the Golden Dawn...In 1865, and Englishman named Robert Wentforth Little founded an esoteric society, the Rosicrucian Society in Anglia. Membership was limited to Master Masons. When Little died in 1878, three men took over, a retired medical doctor, William Woodman (1828 - 1891), a coroner, Wynn Westcott (1848 - 1925) and Samuel Liddell "MacGregor" Mathers (1854 - 1918), who, as a young man, spent much of his time in the British Museum, working through piles of dusty manuscripts. He translated three Medieval magical texts : The Greater Key of King Solomon, The Kaballah Unveiled and The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage. In 1887, so the story goes, Westcott received from Reverend Woodward, an elderly parson and author on Alchemy, a set of cipher manuscripts. He asked the clairvoyant and inspired Mathers to assist him (one legend says both men forged the document, in another Westcott found it on a bookstall in Farringdon Street, and in yet another the document was inherited). Both men found the code of the cipher was contained in a work of Trithemius, the influential Steganographia extolled by John Dee (1527 - 1608), the Elizabethan scholar and astrologer of Queen Elisabeth I. It concerned "angel-magic" and Dee had secured a copy of it in Antwerp. They uncovered skeletons of rituals and Mathers expanded them. Together they started the Golden Dawn (GD), a secret Victorian society aiming to harbor true Rosicrucianism and allow its members to accomplish the Great Work. A complete system of ritual magic based on the history of Western occultism was practiced. In contrast with the Theologic policy of the Rosicrucian Society, the order admitted women members as equals. Its members were recruited from every circle of life. In these rituals, Egyptian, Jewish, Greek & Christian elements were combined. However, the combination of these various traditions led to depletion. A spiritual tradition is as strong as it is pure, i.e. devoid of notions, ideas, concepts, symbols, beliefs, rituals etc. foreign to it. Although syncretism may be intellectually satisfying, it hinders spiritual emancipation. This is certainly true if the elements combined are very different, as is the case here. Because Mathers was unable to read Egyptian texts, he could not make the crucial distinction between the Egyptian approach and the Hellenistic view (incorporated in Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hermetism and Hermeticism). Neither could he isolate the native Egyptian elements present in historical Hermetism. By nevertheless incorporating Egyptian deities (in particular the Osiris-cycle), the GD walked the path of egyptomania.
► Aleister Crowley...Aleister Crowley (1875 - 1947) entered the GD in 1898, introduced to the order by George Cecil Jones (1873 - 1953). The influence of this "Hermetic Order" shaped his life. He continued to ferment the teachings of the GD until he died. In fact, he considered himself and his Thelemic Order of the Silver Star to be its lawful heir. The problems between Crowley and the Adepts of the order started in December 1899 (the first time he met Mathers), i.e. by the time he had taken his Portal grade, the preliminary to the crucial Adept Minor degree. When, in September 1900, he applied to be advanced to the level of Adepthood, the College of Adepts refused. They disliked Crowley, his attitudes and way of life. Some of them probably did not believe an adept should drink, have fun, fornicate and raising hell with enthusiasm. His scandalous reputation won the disapproval of his seniors, who were in their right to refuse him. So, in the same month, Crowley went to Paris, and was initiated in the Ahathoor Temple by Mathers himself ! Between Paris and London a deep schism had been in the making and now tensions truly exploded. When the London adepts heard Mathers had initiated him, the breach was complete. When applying for the lectures he was now entitled, he was again refused and physically thrown out. To Florence Farr, Yeats and many others, Crowley was an outcast, an opportunist who had endangered the link with Mathers. He promptly notified Mathers and the latter arranged a meeting with the "rebels" in London. Crowley acted as Mathers' plenipotentiary, and to protect himself, dressed up in the garb of Highland chieftain, concealing his face with a heavy black mask. Clearly Mathers had been a poor judge of characters, raising lunatic power freaks to Adepthood ...The GD did not recover from the insanity and within a few years became a dispersed organization, with several Temples conducted by different groupings of men, each appointing their own Chiefs. Waite kept the Isis-Urania Temple, but in 1914 he closed it down. Next, Crowley invented his own egyptomanic movement. In Cairo in 1904, the "minister" of Re dictated a new revelation to him, the "Book of the Law" ! Crowley became the "prophet" of the New Age of Horus ! The two major Egyptian deities he incorporated were the sky-goddess Nut and Horus of Edfu ("Hadit"). Had he known the cults of Ancient Egypt well enough, he would have realized they had no revelation or dogma, and certainly no "holy" books (for hieroglyphic writing itself was sacred). Was Crowley's "law" a concoction of his own power driven subconscious mind ? In 1909, he called in the "demon of demons" and turned Satanic. The psychosis had become irreversible ...Do these highlights show the scope of the phantasies, fictions and lies incorporated into the Western Tradition since the start of the Renaissance ? Indeed, to identify the backbone of this Tradition with the Qabalah was the outstanding mistake prompted by the fraud of Moses de Leon. This has perturbated thousands of excellent minds, causing them to constantly replay their own illusions, and loose, unlike Rabbi Akiba, after entering the "garden of delights", their sight, reason or faith in God. "The impeding turn of the millennium nourishes hopes of a new spiritual light for humankind in the aspirations of many. Egypt will surely play a role in such developments in both its forms : pharaonic Egypt and the esoteric-Hermetic Egypt. There has been increasing talk of the relevance of the Hermetic Weltanschauung as a point of view that can contribute to making sense of our modern world by seeking a direct connection with the original wisdom of the oldest cultures and with the core idea of all esoteric thought, according to which the ancient wisdom continues to be valid even in a world that has been transformed."
Can we today turn the page ? Can a spiritual movement emerge which focuses on a thematical reconstruction of Ancient Egyptian spirituality, and this based on the evidence of contemporary science regarding Ancient Egyptian religious practice in general and its basic ritual matrix in particular ? Several individuals work along those lines, coupling study with ritual practice (Hope, 1986, Schueler, 1989, Clark, 2003, Draco, 2003). In such a "Kemetic" reconstruction, no Jewish, Greek, Hermetic, Christian or Hermeticist elements should persist. Is this really possible, and if so, is such spirituality indeed the true backbone of our Western Tradition ? The advantage being the isolation of a tradition untouched by what today may be called "foreign elements". Such an exercise is not easy (not to speak of the contextual limitations of any author). For Hermetism did retain parts of the Egyptian Mystery Tradition, and in a lesser degree, the same goes for Hermeticism, and yes, even for the revealed religions, Christianity first. The thematical reconstruction sought is approached in two steps :
the influence of Egyptian spirituality on Alexandrian Hermetism ; the form of the basic matrix of native Egyptian religion.
In this paper, the first step is dealt with. The second will only be touched in the Epilogue. In the following ten paragraphs, we study ten basic notions of Hermetism (in other forms present in the mix of Hermeticism and in the "mystical" traditions of the religions). We try to find their Ancient Egyptian equivalent "in embryo" :mentalism : the gods, the world and humanity are the outcome of Divine thought ;correspondence : the same characteristics apply to each unity or plane of the world ;
change : nothing remains the same, everything vibrates, nothing is at rest ; polarity : everything has two poles, there are two sides to everything ; rhythm : all things have their tides, rise and fall, advance and retreat, act and react ; cause & effect : everything happens according to law, there is no coincidence ; gender : male and female are in every body and mind, but not in the soul ; timing : everything happens when the time is ripe, things start at the right time ; intent : nature works according to a purposeful plan, pure will masters the stars ; transformation : everything can be transformed into something else, opposites meet. In earlier studies, the special cognitive features of Ancient Egyptian thought, language & literature have been explained. Grosso modo, these imply the difference between rational thought, initiated by the Greeks, and ante-rationality. The latter is the mode of thought of pre-Greek Antiquity and of societies untouched by the linearizing streak of the Hellenes. Before the advent of rationality, three modes of thought prevailed, as Piaget, genetical epistemology and neurophilosophy made clear. These are mythical, pre-rational and proto-rational thought, in which the Ancient Egyptians excelled. Clearly Hermetism was codified using Greek conceptual rationality (giving birth to the influential systems of Plato and Aristotle). Hence, if we try to correlate these concepts with their native Egyptian equivalent, this cognitive difference has to be taken into account, and the multiplicity of approaches characterizing Egyptian thought has to be made an integral part of the equation. So because of this crucial difference, in all my translations of Egyptian texts and commentary, terms related to the Divine are not capitalized (i.e. god, gods, goddess, goddesses, divine, and pantheon), while in Hermetism and all rational discourses they are. This in accord with the contextualizing feature of anterationality, while rationality always puts context between brackets, and by doing so articulates an abstract, theoretical concept of the Divine.
Both Memphis and Alexandria underline the importance of the spoken and written word. Already in the Old Kingdom, Pharaoh was the Great Speech and his magic powerful, and dreaded, even by the deities. But in Late Ramesside Memphite theology, Ptah was the true primordial "god of gods", superceding Atum, in who's "image" (of totality) the universe was created (as demiurge), and establishing the supremacy of the divine word and speech. Memphite theology is explicit : every thing was made by Ptah's mind and spoken words.
Likewise, in Hermetism, the Divine Logos is the "son of God" coming forth from the Light of the Divine Nous, the teacher who, not unlike the one evoked in the Maxims of Good Discourse, gives his pupil access to the Divine Nous, a direct experience (gnosis) of the Godman Hermes. The idealist notion of the universe as a mental creation of The All, making all mind, being typical for Hermetism. The fact this teacher is "Ogdoadic" and not "Hebdomadic" (as was Pharaoh), may refer to the Greek escape from fate and the physical world (whereas the Egyptians saw the divine at work in all planes of creation).
The magical power of words is acknowledged by both traditions. Magic involves the power of efficiency (effectiveness) and the ability to counter every possible inertia and opposition, executing intent to its full capacity.
Especially Pharaoh is the "Great Magician", who is able, like the gods, to create by means of speech. He alone was the "son of Re", divine and able to encounter the deities face to face. His voice-offerings to Maat ensured the continuity of creation. By speaking the right words, the whole of creation could be rejuvenated. Likewise (but on another ontological level), the "son of God", the Ogdoadic teacher, brings the pupil directly in contact with the Enneadic Light of Nous.
The parallels drawn do not allow for an identification of both traditions, as major category-shifts occur. Indeed, together with the rejection of the physical bodyn (cf. infra), mentalism is an outstanding feature of the Hermetica. Nevertheless, in the overall semantic pattern major points overlap. The mentalism of Hermetism was not implanted on the native Egyptian intellectuals part of the Hermetic lodge "from above", but could make use of the available, longstanding verbal tradition of Egypt, linearize and "perfect" it in Greek style ...and more later in Strassburg and suitable in the city of London?

I was extremely happy last week when I got a call from Radio Mirchi announcing me as the winner of Sunfeast photo contest.
Now I am equally unhappy after receiving the "attractive gift hamper from Sunfeast" yesterday.
It may not be worth Rs 100. Full of Sunfeast biscuits in a bakery parcel of size shoe box. No name or any sort of winning note. Forget about participation note.
I heard that the people register for Sunfeast run get better free gifts and T-shirts. AT the end they get proper participation certificate.
Collected this "attractive gift hamper from sunfeast" from Radio Mirchi security yesterday. Since I already had enough biscuits at home for my little son and daughter, returned the "attractive gift hamper from Sunfeast" to Radio Mirchi security on the spot.
I am not sure if the Sunfeastworld 10k marathon giving world’s costliest prize money to winners and organized in a big way treating photo contest winner this way.
I’m feeling a blow to my self respect.

I am not bothered about just the prize. But the whole experience make me sick.
They could have told that there will not be any prize and participation notes/certificate and the selected photo will be put on the hording and it will be used for Sunfeast promotion.

We have 3 baby ducks staying with us for a few days before they go to their forever home in the country. I was watching them yesterday, and got a flashback to when I visited a childrens' farm many years ago. There was a parent duck walking along with his/her babies. I was a good 20 ft away from them, just watching. I made to move closer, but was greeted with a violent duck hiss, and a very quick skedaddle by parent and babies. I hadn't thought about that for years. But yesterday, whilst watching these little babies with no Mum *desperately* want to get in to the paddling pool but not being able to figure out how, the contrast was so great. A duck parent seems to be a great protector, a comfort and a teacher to their offspring. Seeing these babies have no one to show them what to do, or to take care of them like they need, made me so very sad. They were rescued from a "Free Range" commercial duck shed.
...They have each other, though. So that's something.
The White Tiger Fraud
Did you know the only way to produce a white tiger is through severe inbreeding of brother to sister, father to daughter and mother to son?
Did you know that there is no such species as a Royal White Bengal Tiger?
If you didn't know that, don't feel bad, you were deceived just like millions of others. Read on to learn the truth about white tigers, white lions, tabby tigers and other genetic aberrations.
Over the years many people have asked us to take white tigers off their hands, but in every case it was only so they could breed more babies to use, so we declined. For years we have railed against supporting facilities that breed and exhibit white tigers because of the abuse involved in producing them. White Tigers can ONLY exist in captivity by continual inbreeding, such as father to daughter, brother to sister, mother to son and so forth. The white lions and golden tabby tigers are merely a product of this practice of inbreeding for white coats as well and are not being bred for any sort of conservation program either. ALL white tigers are cross eyed, whether it shows or not, because the gene that causes the white coat always causes the optic nerve to be wired to the wrong side of the brain. That is why white tigers are such a favorite of the tiger-tamer-wanabees; they are far more dependant upon their masters. (See genetics and time line of the inbreeding below)
The myth of the Rare White Bengal Tiger was an illusion meant to deceive the public into thinking that these cats were endangered and being preserved for future generations. The truth of the matter is that they aren’t even pure Bengal tigers, but rather are all the offspring of an original Siberian / Bengal cross breeding. The inbreeding results in many defects, early deaths, still births and, as could be expected, the cats are not very bright which is why they are preferred for entertainment purposes.
To quote from Dr. Ron Tilson, Conservation Director of the Minnesota Zoo and manager of the world renown Tiger Species Survival Plan, "The white tiger controversy among zoos is a small part ethics and a large part economics. The tiger Species Survival Plan has condemned breeding white tigers because of their mixed ancestry, most have been hybridized with other subspecies and are of unknown lineage, and because they serve no conservation purpose. Owners of white tigers say they are popular exhibit animals and increase zoo attendance and revenues as well. The same rationalization can be applied to the selective propagation of white lions, king cheetahs and other phenotypically aberrant animals."
"However, there is an unspoken issue that shames the very integrity of zoos, their alleged conservation programs and their message to the visiting public. To produce white tigers or any other phenotypic curiosity, directors of zoos and other facilities must continuously inbreed father to daughter and father to granddaughter and so on. At issue is a contradiction of fundamental genetic principles upon which all Species Survival Plans for endangered species in captivity are based. White tigers are an aberration artificially bred and proliferated by some zoos, private breeders and a few circuses who do so for economic rather than conservation reasons."
As for breeding tigers of any color, Ron Tilson says, “For private owners to say, ‘We’re saving tigers,’ is a lie,” Tilson says. “They are not saving tigers; they’re breeding them for profit.”
Tilson says the exotic animal market is a multimillion dollar industry, ranking just below the illegal drug trade and just above the illegal gun market.
Tilson says tigers are the most charismatic animal on earth. Their appeal is universal. “They are the alpha predator who used to kill and eat us,” he says. “We cannot help but be in awe of their power and grace. Tigers represent everything fine and decent and powerful. Everything those people would like to be. It’s all an ego trip—big guns, big trucks, and big tigers.”
Consider this: Only 1 in 4 tiger cubs from a white tiger bred to an orange tiger carrying the white gene are born white, and 80% of those die from birth defects associated with the inbreeding necessary to cause a white coat. Of those surviving, most have such profound birth defects, such as immune deficiency, scoliosis of the spine (distorted spine), cleft palates, mental impairments and grotesquely crossed eyes that bulge from their skull that only a small percentage are suitable for display. Due to these birth defects the white tigers often die an early death. According to some tiger trainers, only 1 in 30 of those white cats will consistently perform. The number of tigers that have to be produced and disposed of in order to fill the public’s desire to see white tigers on display is staggering.
Big Cat Rescue has never taken in a white tiger before because we did not want to enable people to dispose of their “defective” cats and cause so much more suffering and abuse by having an easy dumping ground for the cats who didn’t serve them.
Even though Zabu is black and white, the decision of whether or not to rescue her was not. When Zabu and Cameron’s plight came to our attention we had to think long and hard about whether or not we would have a white tiger on our tour. We didn’t want to be perceived as using a white tiger to draw visitors.
Many times on our tours we tell guests about the fraud that has been promoted to the public about white tigers and talk about all of our golden tigers who ended up unwanted and abandoned at our door because they were the wrong colour. Now we were considering turning away a white tiger because she was the wrong colour. In her case the facility was being shut down and by rescuing her we were not enabling the owner to breed more and we were keeping a cat of prime breeding age from falling into the hands of people who would breed her to death.
Every year we have to turn away hundreds of big cats. Please do not support those who breed these majestic animals for a life of cruel confinement. No animal, especially a tiger, belongs in a cage.

The White Tiger Fraud by Dan Laughlin, DVM, Ph.D.
I would like to take this opportunity to offer a very relevant fact regarding all the white tigers that are currently in the U.S. About twenty-five years ago I fully researched and documented the accurate genealogy and origin of the white tiger in the U.S. That research revealed that there were and are two separate origins of white tigers. The one that has received all the attention is the Indian or Bengal tiger bloodline which originated in India and entered the U.S. via a breeding loan to the National Zoo. One of the Indian origin tigers carrying the recessive gene for the white color was the mother of the second litter of white tigers born at the Cinncinnati Zoo in 1976.
The original litter of white tigers born at Cincinnati in 1974 and all subsequent Indian origin bloodline white tigers soon died out in the U.S. without leaving any pure Indian origin Bengal white tigers in the U.S.
What is not known, because I have never published my research definitively showing the true origin of the white tiger in the U.S., is that there is a second and separate origin of the white tiger which occurred spontaneously in two separate private collections in this country when both owners inbred brothers to sisters that were all offspring of two litters resulting from crossing a pure Siberian male and a Bengal female at a small zoo in South Dakota.
Of the twelve live cubs born to the Siberian male and Bengal female at that small zoo, one of the private individuals purchased a litter of two cubs, a brother and sister, and the other individual purchased another litter of five cubs, brothers and sisters, through an animal dealer. Both individuals inbred their brothers and sisters and spontaneously had white tiger cubs born. One white male crossbred tiger, half-Siberian and half-Bengal, was placed on loan to the Cincinnati Zoo where he was crossed with a white carrier female Bengal tiger on loan from the National Zoo. That hybrid crossing in 1976 of the two separate white tiger origin bloodlines produced a litter of four white tiger cubs and one normal colored white carrier cub
The Cincinnati Zoo then returned both parents and three of the cubs to the two exhibitors that had placed their adults there on loan and then the Zoo proceeded to repeatedly inbreed back and forth the white male to his white female sister that the Zoo had retained ownership of for themselves. Thus, every white tiger ever born at the Cincinnati Zoo was and is part Siberian tiger and part Bengal tiger to a greater or lesser degree.
It is those offspring which have been disseminated throughout the U.S. One of the individuals who owned the litter of five brothers and sisters representing the American crossbred white tiger bloodline has continued to inbreed his tigers for
over the past twenty-five years even though his neonate mortality rate has often exceeded eighty per cent and his tigers are severely defective and unfit. By pure chance and against overwhelming odds, when the two separate bloodlines, the
Indian and American, were crossed for the first and only time at the Cincinnati Zoo, the offspring were fairly thrifty and of normal birth weight.
Interestingly, anyone with even cursory experience with and knowledge of the five remaining and endangered subspecies of tigers should be able to simply look at the white tigers throughout the U.S. and clearly see the phenotypic Siberian characteristics present in the cats. Some weigh up to seven hundred pounds and most clearly resemble and exhibit Siberian tiger physical characteristics.
The only conceivable legitimate reason for exhibiting a white tiger would be for educational purposes to clearly and unequivocally illustrate to the public the process of natural selection and how, when a deleterious recessive genetic mutation randomly occurs that is disadvantageous for the survival of the animal, such as white color in a tropical jungle environment, the animal does not survive to pass on that genetic mutation or disadvantageous characteristic to its offspring.
This was the normal course of natural selection and evolution of the tiger until a young white tiger male was captured in 1951, raised and then inbred to one of his daughters by a Maharajah in India who had captured him. Then, in the early 1970's, the recessive genetic mutation for the white color was present in both the male Siberian tiger and the female Bengal tiger that were exhibited and bred at the small zoo in South Dakota resulting in the origin of the American white tiger bloodline.

Dr. Tilson made these comments before I informed him that all the white tigers in the U.S. are crossbred or hybrid animals, part Siberian and part Bengal. So, in conclusion, every white tiger in the U.S. is not only the result of repeated inbreeding of genetically defective animals but, even worse, is a hybrid or crossbred animal. Thus, anyone involved in breeding and/or exhibiting white tigers is doing a great disservice to honest conservation and preservation efforts to save the five remaining and endangered subspecies of tigers barely clinging to survival in their rapidly diminishing natural habitats.
The genealogical misrepresentation, repeated inbreeding, exhibition and sale, for $60,000 each, of white tigers by the Cincinnati Zoo initiated the greatest conservation deception of the American public in history. That deception continues through today. In my view, exhibiting and breeding white tigers is the very antithesis of conservation, is dishonest and unethical and is tantamount to catering to the public's desire to see genetic aberrations rather than educating the public regarding the incredible process of natural selection, how the unbelievable diversity of life has evolved on our planet throughout the past 50 million years and the crucial need for us to preserve natural habitats and stop the destruction of our global ecosystem if we desire to save any threatened or endangered species from extinction.

Inbreeding Time Line
Chronology of the white Bengal tiger up until the death of Mohan:
1820: A white tiger was displayed at Exeter Change.
1915: White tiger cub captured by Maharajah Gulab Singh of Rewa. Upon its death it was gifted to King George V as a sign of India's loyalty to the crown.
25th May 1951: A forest labourer reported sighting a white tiger cub.
26th May 1951: The cub's mother and two of its three siblings were shot and killed.
27th May 1951: Maharaja Martand Singh captured Mohan.
30th May 1951: The cub escapes and a large party goes out to recapture it.
26th February 1952: A normal coloured tigress named Begum is captured.
10th April 1955: Begum produced a litter of a male and two female cubs. All were orange, as were all the cubs in her subsequent two litters.
December 1957: Mohan was mated with Radha, his four-year-old daughter from the second litter with Begum.
20th October 1958: Radha produced an all-white litter of a male and three female cubs. They were christened Raja, Rani, Sukeshi and Mohini. Subsequently:
The male and one female (Raja and Rani) were gifted to the National Zoological Gardens in New Delhi.
Mohini was transported to Washington D.C.
Sukeshi was kept for mating with Mohan and remained with him until he was withdrawn from breeding. She was then housed with her son in hopes they would breed but he showed no interest in mating with her and after six years without success she too was transferred to the National Zoological Gardens in New Delhi where she died on the 2nd February 1975.
May 1964: Raja and Rani were mated. Rani gave birth to two white cubs, a male and a female. She mauled both and the female died. The male, 'Tippu' lost his tail and was hand-raised with great difficulty.
August 1965: Two white cubs born to Rani. Both die due to neglect.
19th December 1965: Three white cubs are born to Rani. They were left in her care for just over a month, at which point she lost interest and they were hand-raised. The female dies at the age of 17-months and one male dies on the 17th April 1967 during shipping to the United States.
Breeding of Rani continued and she produced a total of 20 white cubs.
19th December 1969: Mohan died aged 19 years 7 months. All captive white tigers descend from Mohan, which explains why they are so genetically inbred.
Genetics of the White Tiger
White Tigers can ONLY exist in captivity by continual inbreeding, such as father to daughter, brother to sister, mother to son and so forth. This is because the white color is the result of a double recessive allele (gene) and thus the white color can only be produced by inbreeding one tiger carrying the recessive gene for the white color to another tiger carrying the same recessive gene. Before the five remaining species of tigers were pushed to the brink of extinction by the activities of humans, the random occurrence of one normal colored tiger carrying the recessive gene for the white color breeding to another normal colored tiger also carrying the recessive gene for white color, thus producing one or possibly two cubs possessing the double allele for the white color and consequently being born white, occurred about once in every 10,000 births. That statistical approximation is based upon recorded observations in the wild of white cubs. It should be noted that the first recorded observation of a white cub was made in the mid-fifteenth century and the only wild observations of white cubs have been in Bengal tigers.
Because the white coloration is so disadvantageous to survival there is no recorded evidence of a white cub ever living long enough in the wild to become an adult. That is why white tigers ONLY exist in captivity and then ONLY as the result of continual, destructive and unethical inbreeding. Thus, the concept of the "Royal Rare White Bengal Tiger" is a myth and likely the most deceptive misconception and most destructive conservation fraud ever perpetrated on the American public. The truth is that all the white tigers currently in the United States are not even Bengal tigers but are worthless hybrids or crossbreds originating from normal colored offspring born to a pure Siberian male tiger and a pure Bengal female tiger that were kept together during the 1960's at the Sioux Falls, S.D. Zoo. Unknown to the Zoo at that time or to the two private exhibitors who purchased cubs from two litters born at the Zoo, all the normal colored cubs carried the recessive gene for the white color because either or both their Siberian father or their Bengal mother was a or were random carriers of the recessive mutant gene. Thus when the two private exhibitors that purchased litter mates from the Sioux Falls Zoo unethically bred brother to sister, the recessive mutant genes were paired, producing one or two white tigers.
Both private exhibitors have experienced neonatal mortality rates in excess of 80% because the recessive gene for the white color is a deleterious mutation and thus is co-linked to numerous other deleterious and often fatal characteristics such as immune deficiency, strabismus (crossed eyes), scoliosis of the spine (distorted spine), cleft palates, mental impairments and early death.
The genetics of all recessive genes works like this:
If we assign, say a capital "N" to represent normal color in a tiger and a small "w" to represent white color (because the white color is recessive and the orange color is dominant), then a normal colored orange tiger would be represented as "NN" and a normal colored orange tiger carrying the recessive gene for the white color would be represented as "Nw." So, if we bred a normal colored orange tiger to a normal colored orange tiger carrying the recessive gene for the white color, we would represent that cross as "NN" x "Nw" and the offspring would be represented as: half "NN" and half "Nw". In other words, one-half of the cubs would be normal orange color non-carriers and one-half would be normal color orange carriers of the recessive white gene.
Then, if the two normal color orange carriers of the white gene were bred to each other (brother to sister) the genetic representation would be: "Nw" x "Nw" and the offspring would be something like this: one-forth "NN", one-half "Nw" and one fourth "ww".
In other words, one out of four cubs, statistically, would be a a normal orange colored non-carrier cub ("NN"), one-half of the cubs would be normal orange colored carriers of the recessive white gene (2 "Nw") and one cub would be a double allele carrier of the white recessive gene ("ww") and thus be colored white.
But, when you cross a white male to a white female ("ww" x "ww") you can only have all white cubs born ("ww") and that is what The Cincinnati Zoo and individuals such as Siegfried and Roy have been doing for at least the past fifteen generations, always breeding for large size, thus unknowingly emphasizing the Siberian phenotypic or physical characteristics deriving from "Kubla," the pure Siberian male at the Sioux Falls, S.D. Zoo.

On Jan. 6, the St. Petersburg Times ran a picture of an Inverness woman bottle-feeding a couple of 4-week-old tiger cubs, who at that age were cute enough to soften the hardest heart.
The photo featured Susan MacKay, who along with her husband, Bill, runs Wild Bill's Airboat Tours and Wildlife Sanctuary in Citrus County, where they breed tigers.
Readers probably assumed cubs at the sanctuary would stay there for a safe, comfortable life. In reality, they are for sale. And their futures, particularly those of the distinctive-looking white tiger cubs, are fraught with hazard.
Until a few years ago, white tiger cubs were one of the hottest commodities in the wildlife trade. People who work with captive wildlife say a blue-eyed white cub could fetch a price of $50,000 or more.
High prices encouraged frenzied breeding. Females can give birth to litters of two to three cubs up to three times a year. The result is a glut of tiger cubs, both white and yellow. Predictably, prices have plunged. Below is white tiger at Wild Bill's.
"They were rare. Now everybody's got them," said Mitchel Kalmanson, an insurance broker in Maitland who specializes in animal and entertainment coverage."Values have dropped so drastically on white tigers they're not worth insuring anymore."
Now that their dollar value has plummeted, their prospects are gloomy.
Exact numbers are impossible to obtain, but owners of wildlife sanctuaries say there are far more cubs available than suitable places for them to live. Some are bought by people who think they can make pets of them. Sellers often encourage this misperception.
"They get sold to somebody who may be buying them with some degree of innocence," said Lynn Cuny, founder of Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation in Boerne, Texas."They'll be given a false bill of goods about how these animals will behave. People really believe that in 10 generations you can breed out millions of years of being an elusive carnivore."
Cuny says she knows of one dealer who tells potential buyers the animals will remain tame if they're not fed red meat.
The quest for valuable cubs led to inbreeding of mothers with sons, brothers with sisters. As a result, many white tiger cubs are born with deformities of the eyes, organs, skeletons or digestive tracts. Because of those conditions, "They have absolutely no conservation value whatsoever," said Ronald Tilson, a Minnesota Zoo executive who coordinates the American Zoo and Aquarium Association's species survival plan for tigers.
In nature, white tigers are rare. Both parents must carry a recessive gene for that color.
Normal tiger behavior in the the wild prevents the kind of inbreeding necessary to produce white cubs.
Once captive-bred cubs are grown and become problems for private owners, they face even bleaker prospects. Most zoos and circuses breed their own cats. Sanctuaries already are full of castoffs and routinely turn down people who offer to donate the tigers they bought as cubs.
"We had to turn away 311 cats last year, mostly lions and tigers," said Carole Baskin, founder of Big Cat Rescue, a sanctuary for big cats in north Hillsborough County.
So what happens when the owners can no longer handle them?
"They end up in roadside zoos where they'll probably live a wretched life," Tilson said.
"If they're lucky, people might call a vet and arrange a humane death," Cuny said.
Janie's story is an example of what can happen to a white tiger cub.
When she arrived in 1997 at Vernon Yates' of Seminole, she was 4 years old and should have weighed about 400 pounds.
She weighed 100 pounds.
"Janie could hardly hold her head up," Yates said. "You know what a greyhound looks like? You could see her ribs. We didn't even have to hold her down to put an IV in her."
Janie's owner, Bruce Eisenmann, sent her to Yates on orders from an inspector with the state Wildlife Commission. She was one of three tigers in Eisenmann's possession in Alva, near Fort Myers. The inspector found the cats after a neighbor complained. All were emaciated, with hairless patches of skin and open sores, according to wildlife commission records.
Through his company, Tiger Rescue Foundation, Eisenmann got the tigers to display at schools, churches, nursing homes and civic associations. In June 1997, he pleaded no contest to a charge of animal cruelty and was put on probation.
Yates said Eisenmann told him the tigers had been ill.
"We could never find anything wrong except not enough food," Yates said.
Eisenmann has moved from Florida, according to his mother in South Carolina. Contacted there, Louise Eisenmann said her son was too ill to discuss the matter. She did not elaborate.
Eisenmann's Tiger Rescue Foundation no longer exists. Because nobody ever paid Janie's boarding bill, Yates says, the tiger still lives with him.
So do Nikita and Natasha, whose Jacksonville owner gave up on them as pets; Sunny, the pet of a Fort Lauderdale man who got scared of her; Roslyn, another ex-pet; Calvin, a pet who was going to be euthanized because of medical problems; and Hobbes, who was given to Yates in a shoebox a few hours after his birth; and a number of cubs.
Kalmanson said at least a dozen people in Florida breed white tigers for sale.
The MacKays advertise their cubs in a trade magazine called Animal Finders Guide. Among listings for elk calves, albino groundhogs, wolf cubs and wallabies is theirs:
Two male white and one natural color female tiger babies. Raised in our home on bottles with lots of love, they are real sweet. White tiger babies have blue eyes. Another litter due April 1.
McKay said he hopes to sell the white cubs for $10,000 each.
When the cubs are small, they're so cute and playful that some people find them irresistible.
But, says Baskin, "After a year or so, people realize they make horrible pets."
As sexual maturity nears, tigers experience a growth spurt and a change in behavior that can stun unwary owners.
"Suddenly, this person has a several-hundred-pound carnivorous animal in their home," Cuny said. "It's not uncommon for people to have dogs, cats and children in the same home."
Even Yates, who runs the wildlife sanctuary, has had difficulty managing his tigers. Twice in a year, they have had litters of cubs unexpectedly, which he acknowledges shouldn't have happened. He said he plans to castrate the males or get contraceptive implants for the females. He plans to keep the cubs, not sell them.
There's one other issue. If tigers aren't suitable pets, what message does Yates send by taking them for rides on his boat?
"It is a problem," he said. "When people see that, they see the good side. But I tell them, 'You're not seeing the other side. These are large animals, and they can hurt you.' "
Yates has a state license to keep tigers and tells people it's illegal to keep them without one.
The challenges grow along with the animal.
"How do you get a 500-pound tiger to the vet? We have people call us all the time asking, 'How can we do it?' " Baskin said.
People also fail to consider that the vet who treats their dogs and cats probably doesn't have any experience with tigers.
Tigers live for up to 20 years, Yates said. They're noisy even after being spayed or neutered. They eat 15 to 20 pounds of raw meat a day.
One of MacKay's tigers weighs around 800 pounds.
"He's very friendly," MacKay said, "but he's testy if you turn your back on him. He'll come for you like you're a toy. He could crush me in a heartbeat."
He has been hurt just once, he said, when one of his tigers gave him a "love bite."
"Just a 14-stitcher," MacKay said. "He put his mouth around my ankle and didn't release his grip."
Although MacKay gave an initial interview to the Times about raising cubs, he later would not respond to telephone and fax inquiries regarding the advisability of breeding them or criticisms of the practice by others.
Once owners decide their "pet" isn't working out, they discover how hard it is to get rid of a grown tiger.
"The first thing they'll do is call the local zoo," Cuny said. "Nine times out of 10, the zoo says, 'No thanks.' Then they'll call animal control, which tells them to try a sanctuary. The sanctuary will most likely say, 'We'd love to help you but we're full.' Or, 'We're a non-profit. We can take it if you can contribute several thousand dollars toward its lifetime care.' "
In Florida, it's against the law to own a tiger as a pet. But there are loopholes. If you're going to use a tiger for some commercial purpose, such as as a mascot for a business, or to educate the public, or to be photographed for movies or commercials, you can get a license to own a tiger. The animals also can be sold to buyers from states that don't regulate private ownership of non-native wildlife, such as Texas or Alabama.
But even within Florida, enforcement is scattered. Florida's Wildlife Commission has only 10 investigators to cover the entire state.
"People hide them from inspectors," Kalmanson said. "They get thrown in cages that are too small."
Some people who buy or sell tiger cubs tend to be secretive. Even if properly licensed, they don't want to attract attention from neighbors or animal-rights activists.
One seller with an ad in Animal Finders Guide listed four Siberian tiger cubs, born April 20, as free to a good home. She listed a phone number in the 727 area code.
She abruptly hung up when she learned her caller was a reporter.

These raids are the result of an intelligence-led operation, code named Operation Florin, aimed at people buying properties with false documents and money made from criminal activities.
Warrants were executed at addresses in the Milnrow and Cutgate areas just after 7am this morning, Wednesday 17 November 2010.
Two men and three women have been arrested on suspicion of fraud and money laundering.
Officers from the Rochdale division carried out the raids with the support of force resources such as Tactical Aid Units and those in custody will be interviewed by officers from the Pennine Neighbourhood Policing Team while the houses are searched.
Operation Florin was launched after officers found up to a quarter of a million pounds worth of cannabis during a raid at a house on Higher Calderbrook Road, Littleborough on 21 April 2010.
Officers then began an investigation into the ownership of that and other properties in Rochdale and Manchester.
Sergeant Karl Ward, from Pennine Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "Today is the culmination of months of hard work by the NPT and our financial investigator and proves that when we find drugs, our work does not stop there.
"When we found the cannabis plants and stopped those drugs from getting on to the streets of Greater Manchester, it was a good result but we were not satisfied to let it rest there and decided to look at every aspect behind it such as the ownership of the house involved.
"We will always try to tackle drug dealers as they cause misery on a number of levels - to those using drugs, to the community that has to put up with the antisocial behaviour and intimidation that goes with it and those who suffer the burglaries and robberies that fund addictions.
"However, today shows that it can go much deeper. We are in a recession and honest residents are already struggling to make ends meet.
"Criminals who buy property with ill-gotten gains and false documents can affect house prices in the area and damage the firms they borrow from with their perilous financial position, only adding to the problems of law-abiding people who are already struggling."

Mortgage Fraud is when a borrower misleads a lender and misrepresents their information on a mortgage document. This type of fraud is done to try and get a larger home loan when the borrower might not actually be able to afford that loan. This is considered a crime.
Greater Manchester Police is launching a new campaign to warn people of the potential of becoming a victim of crime on the internet.
Beginning today “ “Don’t Get Trapped in the Web” ” focuses on cybercrime in general but also draws on four crime types – child sexual exploitation, sextortion, fraud and human trafficking – warning people to be careful when using the internet.
Cybercrime is one of the fastest growing crimes in the UK, affecting both businesses and individuals. It includes a range of cyber-dependent (crimes which can only be committed online) and cyber enabled (crimes which can be conducted on or offline) crimes.
GMP recorded 9,972 cybercrimes between the beginning of April '14 and end of May '16. The most common types of cybercrime in GM are fraud and harassment, with the biggest increases being seen in blackmail, harassment and child sexual activity.
Detective Chief Inspector Danny Inglis said: “The online world is changing every day with new apps and websites creating new risks for anyone using the internet. People are using online sites more and more every day to buy products, meet people and keep in touch with loved ones and the risks are increasingly apparent.
“By encouraging individuals and businesses to question their online behaviour and identify potential risks before they become a victim of cybercrime we hope to make people aware of the consequences of such crimes and encourage reporting.
“This campaign looks at what people can do to stay safe online and asks them to pause and think before sharing any personal data online – the vast majority of people and businesses online are trustworthy but being wary when using online services helps people stay even safer. A really simple rule to follow is that if you wouldn’t do it in real life then don’t do it online.”
Playing on the imagery of being ensnared on a spider’s web, ‘don’t get trapped in the web’ highlights the potential dangers present on the World Wide Web and the steps that people can take to protect themselves.
Posters, postcards and social media posts will circulate the messages across Greater Manchester, highlighting the differences between what appears online and what is really happening behind the screens. By asking potential victims not to get trapped in the web, GMP will aim to help prevent people from becoming victims of cybercrime by changing their online behaviour.
The team that leads on cybercrime for GMP will also be taking part in a live twitter chat on Thursday 13 October encouraging people to share their experiences and think about their online behaviour.
Greater Manchester Mayor and Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Lloyd said: “Protecting ourselves is the best line of defence against ruthless criminals who use the internet to prey on people and exploit their vulnerabilities. Cybercrime is no different to any other crime and we must not underestimate the impact it has on victims, often causing financial or emotional distress. WHY IS THERE NOT AN ENTIRE STAFF ABOUT THIS JOB TO TRAIN AND OR EDUCATE THESE AND CONFIRM THIS UNDERSTANDING BY ALL AND ABOUT THESE NEW LAWS AND OR ANY LAWS THEN AND OR THEIR OWN PROPER PLACEMENT AND THEN ANY NEW PROCESS .. these things are not to hit this national desk unless they fit all proper legal laws and then all are to be educated about this in it's entirety by process (WITH SOME TRUTH IN DISCLOSURE) and from the beginning to the finished result .. this finished result then is this responsibility of this national office.. WHY DID THESE NOT PROPERLY LEGALLY NOTIFY ALL STATES AND WITH SOME PROPER TRAINING AND EDUCATION AND THEN A CONFIRMED UNDERSTANDING AND ABOUT THIS CREDIT DEBT PROCESS?? All education seemed to stop then and these simply became MORE OR LESS DIRECT ORDERS they did notify them higher dollar states .. These are supposed to legally be good and fair suggestions and or advisements not any direct order .. YET THIS LACK OF EDUCATIONAL PROVIDENCE ABOUT ANY NEW LAW MAY HAVE BEEN DUE TO THIS LIE .. how can one educate all about a lie without exposing the lie??? WE MUST CHANGE AND OR RE-ESTABLISH THESE PROPER LEGAL THINGS AND ABOUT THIS TRAINING AND OR EDUCATION THEN .. BTW do not foget to request four times this necessary amount about any state process (the proper legal goal is to have any left over in any budget) IT WAS WRITTEN INTO THIS FEDERAL CREDIT REFORM ACT AS REQUIREMENTS AND IS THEN A NATIONAL SET STANDARD NOT OF ANY ONE OR ANOTHER STATES STANDARD YET IS A STANDARD OF ALL THEN .. who failed to notify these poverty level states ???
THIS PROPER EDUCATING PROCESS THEN CATCHES THESE ILLEGAL PROCESSES IMMEDIATELY AND IS A CLEAR DETOURANT AND OR ARE QUICK TO DETERMINE A NECESSARY CHANGE MUST BE MADE IMMEDIATELY.
