This broad expanse of Rock River above the dam is sometimes referred to as "Lake Beloit" and shows up as such on many older maps. The original dam was created at the founding of Beloit, in the 1840's.
About 10:30 saturday morning. I got the framing started during the week after work, but with only a little time here and a little there to work on it, not much has improved since last weekend.

Autumn colors between two trees helping me out choosing a frame to make a picture as great as possible. Having the sun in the face didn't help, but it also creates a certain effect.
A CEB volunteer attaches a frame to the wall. The frames will be used to showcase student work.
