One of the two Hand-fed fox puppy orphans, now about four months old and since a few days free in their new areal. They are beautiful, aren't they?

Two really lucky guys, safed half starving when they were a few days old. Mom has left them, perhaps pushed by a car or killed by dogs or poison, no one knows what had happened. Now their home is a wildlife park with a brand new large enclosure with trees and grass and space to run and play.

Sorry, another similar photo. I was just hoping, if anyone cared to look and comment, to get some opinion on which photo is better. A friend of mine wants a fox photo on their kid's wall.

A Silver Fox is a Red Fox with a melanistic fur that appears either black or silver in different lighting. Silver Fox are one of the beautifulest animals here in Alaska. For this reason, they are highly sought after by trappers as their fur brings a premium price.

We had this fox visit our cabin for quite a while. This particular photo was taken from our deck on the east side of our cabin. The fox would visit as a kit, and cry outloud in the evening hours. My wife has a video of it doing so whe it was really small. The fox visited us quite often from late summer 2019 to the following spring if 2020, after that, it was never seen again. We like to believe that it is still out in the wild living free and having a family of its own.

We have had occasional fox visitors since, but never the silver fox.

Yesterday, with a little light, I discovered a fox, who has entered a goose-billy. This was not difficult because there is only a littered fence.

My fear was that the geese are now being eaten.

So I quickly sneaked to the fence and brought my dogs under control.

Instead of chattering loudly as usual, the geese were absolutely quiet this time and were tightly compressed in one corner.

The fox has ignored the geese and the ducks and marched leisurely over the paddock.

Even if he looked at us for a short time, we were not exposed.

With his good nose he had then found rolls and one of them was once eaten. After this bite, he went towards the approximately 30 geese.

Shortly before the geese were still more rolls and the following scene I had not yet seen before.

The fox grabbed first, then the second and then the third roll to march with it.

Unfortunately he lost the third roll. Surprisingly how big a fox's mouth is.

Fox you stole the rolls.
