Hands Together: An Icon Incarnate

Found object(s): cat whiskers
Imaginatively captured as weft in a miniature loom fabricated from 14ga copper wire, birch dowel and brass screws. The beams are made from steel quilting pins and 30ga copper coil and loom is warped with continuous 0.05mm dia. monofilament copper "yarn."
Adorned with two apatite nuggets as "eyes".
6 1/8" x 6 1/4". Found objects, ceramic tile, smalti, vitreous and porcelain tile.

Scanned on an Epson 4870, then contrast-enhanced using Photoshop.
