been missing my self-portrait 365 lately....i'll be 50 next year and i'm thinking that would be an awesome way to document a milestone year
it seems silly to so many people who don't understand it. they think you just like to look at pictures of yourself. i would say that depends on the person. for some, that may be the whole reason and for others, it has nothing to do with it. most of us probably fall somewhere in between
i keep thinking, hey, why don't i do a regular 365 and just commit to taking and posting a picture every day?
why it gotta be a self-portrait?

i believe i have my answer but i'd love to hear thoughts from all you self-portrait takers....especially, those that have been doing it for a long time...

It's a wham bam shot today.
Hubby and I have coffee with his dad every Thursday morning at the local Starbucks.
Shot this on the Fotomecha app with Extreme BW setting....it's a cool app.
Slammed at work today, see you guys later!
I'm going for it, another project begins...
My 3rd 365...well, this year it's a 366.
Main rule is, must be shot in 2012.
Secondary rule is....prefer it be shot and posted on "the day" but, I know life will get crazy at times so I'm not going to sweat having to use a shot a few days old.

Daily App Experiment #171 "ArtAttack" - one of highlights of the last few #makersfaire events has been ArcAttack's giant musical tesla coils. They sound great and are fun to watch. I shot these pics mid arc using #FotoMecha. I then ran that image through #ToonPaint and #Autopainter. I then used #DXP to merge those two images. #makerfaire #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment

- Created by taking an action shot with FotoMecha, running that through ToonPaint, then layering a different photo of some wall tiled wall in a BART station on top of the ToonPaint image using the "Plus Lighter" filter in DXP.

ここで臨時ニュースをお伝えします。
鼻と喉をヤラれました。
夏風邪ってやつだと思われますが、寝ているときにクーラーを使っているわけでもなく、
そもそも自宅ではまだクーラーを使用していません。
ということは、明らかに『うつされた』と判断するのがよさそうな気がするんですが、
思い当たる節の人が数人いて、誰のせいにも出来ず、結局は自分の健康管理の問題ってわけです。
ただでさえ食欲のない今、追い討ちのように夏風邪とは、素晴らしいタイミングで食べる気ゼロです。
頼れる友達はみんな仕事、近所に住むお袋は旅行という、まるで台本があるかのような展開です。

I posted this earlier and then I noticed my nose was messed up! The crazy contrast made me look like a leper! lol So, I painted over it..... much better :)

I'm going to be totally offline this week as I prepare for my tax audit appeal meeting on Thursday.
I will be keeping up with my iPhone 365 (only 2 months left!!!) but, only in terms of taking a few pics every day.....processing and posting will happen this weekend.
