37421 had a problem on the overnight sleeper and 37405 was used to take it back for repair to Millerhill. May 2001
This photo shows the Fort William City Hall and the Hydro building as they looked at the end of WWII, as evidenced by the large "V" banner on the bell tower. The spire on top of the tower was removed later.

Fort William Historical Park (formerly known as Old Fort William) is a Canadian historical site located in Thunder Bay, Ontario, that contains a reconstruction of the Fort William fur trade post as it existed in 1815. It officially opened on July 3, 1973.
The third different 73/9 to operate the Fort William sleeper during our holiday, 73970 approaches its destination at nearly 09:55.
This derelict (and therefore highly picturesque) boat seems to have become a fixture on the north shore of Loch Linnhe. Ben Nevis makes a great background!
