This car is perfection! The sound, the look, everything about it just oozes awesome!! This is an old shot from a couple months ago.

This Formula-style concept car was constructed using parts exclusively from the Mini Vespa, Set #40517 and a pick a brick cup bought at my local Lego store. The limitation on parts led to a lot of creative solutions. Overall I am very pleased with the shaping. Watch out for more mocs using the same pieces as these are all I have at the moment :)

I swear, this is the last Xenoblade X model I'll build. Maybe.

So now that I've played the game for a bit (Well, maybe more than a bit) I thought I would do one last Skell model. In the past, I've built the Mastema, with an opening cockpit gimmick, and a Xenoblade-inspired mech, the Helion, which lacked the cockpit gimmick but could transform. For this build, the Formula, I wanted to combine both the cockpit and the transformation. Because of the inclusion of these gimmicks, I was not able to add a whole lot of detail, but I did my best. It isn't especially poseable, and likes to fall apart while transforming it, but it's a whole lot better than the Mastema which was essentially a statue (It needed support to stand, this one does not). All of the blue bricks came from the Mystery Machine set, so I was very limited with those, although I think the color scheme turned out fine. I may build more weapons and maybe a flight pack in the future, we'll see.

Now to get on to Droneuary ;)

So I picked up Xenoblade Chronicles X on the WiiU after Christmas and have been playing an awful lot. Giant stompy robots FTW! Also, mad props to those who build mecha on the reg. This was crazy difficult to build and while it technically can stand on its own, the smallest bump will send it toppling. I prefer the flight pose anyways. The in game model will also transform to vehicle mode but I left that out due to engineering difficulties. (Double knees?)

Michael Schumacher during the 2000 Formula 1 Grand Prix Season.

He drove the Ferrari F1-2000 car designed by Rory Byrne for the 2000 Formula One season. The car was a direct development of the F300 and F399 from the previous two seasons, using the same basic gearbox and a new engine with a wider V-angle (90 degrees vs 75 degrees in the 048 engine). This new wider angle improved and lowered the centre of gravity of the car. It also featured improved aerodynamics, which put it on par with that year's McLaren MP4/15.

Michael Schumacher drove the F1-2000 to his third World Drivers' Title and Ferrari's first for 21 years. It also defended Ferrari's constructors' crown, and signified the start of the team's dominance throughout the first half of the decade.

These three cars took part in the HSCC/FJHRA Historic Formula Junior Race at the Gold Cup meeting at Oulton Park in August 2008. Number 78 is the 1963 Brabham BT6 of Hong Kong driver Mark Amez-Droz which is possibly chassis FJ-11-63. Number 79 is the 1963 Lotus 27 of Swiss driver Urs Eberhardt and probably chassis 27/JM/14. Car number 5 is the 1963 Lola Mk5A of Swiss driver Philipp Buhofer.
