Back form a great holiday in Switzerland and Italy. A lot of people fly a long way from home during the summer, but forget that Europe has so much to give.
Our last stop was Cinque Terre. A famous spot that I always wanted to visit. Yes it was crowded, but if you hike a bit, you loose most of the crowds. As a photographer always the challenge to make a unique shot on a very popular photo location. I tried my best, especially using different foregrounds. Hope you enjoy and more to follow.
I always really appreciate your favs and comments.

Oh my goodness!!!!! ................ The Beast from the East & now Storm Emma! Its been relentless blizzards all day today in Newhey, with roads closed all around and vehicles stranded, and public transport at a halt, what next! Flooding!
Don't forget spring is here! Summer comes after spring! So wrap up, keep safe, warm and stay positive!

The common name, Forget Me Not, comes from a German legend about a knight who died trying to get the flowers for his lover and called out with his last breath, “Forget me not!”. The Greek name, Myosotis, means mouse's ear because the oval, furry leaves resemble a mouse's ear.
Sometimes you will do anything to forget. Forget the past, forget everything just to having nothing on your mind.

Some years the garden is a cloud of blue smoke- when these are as prolific as they can sometimes be! This year, there are just small drifts!
Day 142 - High Key
Just some forget me nots, growing like weeds in my garden ... but I still love them :)
The only thing I've added here is a single, pressed, forget-me-not flower. Yes, I confess, this is another recent addition to my collection of miniatures. I just don't seem to be able to resist pastels these days. :)
A Riparian Attraction
Myosotis scorpiodes
Down along the Grasse river is an area normally underwater but this year it's "dry" and the water replaced by a carpet of these growing in the moist soil,
Apparently the heat wave is going to come tomorrow and the temperature at inland would rise to triple digits. I was checking the news about the beaches. Apparently the county authorities of San Mateo and Santa Cruz are going to shut them down this weekendq for fear of overcrowding. So no beach to escape the heatwave folks.

This is one of my favorite flowers, I love the colours but It's a bit sad they don't last all summer long :)
Just one day , ...Remembrance Sunday, ....is not enough to justify this...
Every day of the year we should remember..............and be thankful.
