As you know from recent reportage, Hoof and Horace have built themselves a new workshop in the field. Horace decided to try out some of his old creative skills and thought it would be appropriate to make this in recognition of everything that is being carried out by so many people who are looking after us all and keeping this country going through these abnormal times.

At the bottom of The Cornish Coat Of Arms are the words “One And All” how appropriate as we are all in this together.

So Horace hopes there will be another huge and worthy round of applause throughout the country this evening at 20:00.

We can do it 👏👏👏👏👏

People from all over the world have been taking an interest in the upcoming UK referendum and some have been weighing in with their opinion. I particularly like this timeless quote from Abraham Lincoln given during the Gettysburg address in 1863.

"Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

From what I could tell, there were definitely hundreds of people and vehicles that showed up and it probably went well into the thousands by the starting time. This created an hours-long traffic jam on State Street into the Chicago Loop from 26th Street near the South Loop. Vehicles from out of state were also present, such as this one from Michigan.

A dear friend of ours in Virginia sent a great package of magic our way for Christmas- among everything were these delightful paws and toys, filled with catnip! Oh my! SO wonderful and yes, we almost have a war of who will keep the paws! She was a great support during the time we rescued Holly from the truckstop in Mississippi, and also while Holly delivered her 6 kittens and raised them!
