From an old road trip... The car was more packed than any other car I had ridden in for soo many hours. But I had my one window and my camera, so I tried keeping myself entertained.

I can't play until later, I have a family session to edit from Sunday.
After the first week of November I will have had a total of 8 sessions. WOOT... but, everyone has waited until the last minute for "holiday" stuff. So I will be working my wrist into some carpel tunnel. LOL
Seriously, after editing the little girl's from Saturday my wrist was numb and tingley. :(
I'll be back later to visit everyone. :)

Day 48 - February 18, 2010
On this second day of my Boy Behind The Lens Series I'd like to take you to my office. Here I am at 17th Floor of our building, the GMA Network Center late tonight.
April marks my tenth year with GMA 7, one of the leading television networks in the Philippines. I work in the news department as Assistant Manager for Multimedia.
My job besically has plenty to do with technology and how it is used in news gathering; we call this Digital News Gathering (DNG). Occasionally I am sent out to produce coverage of special events. I've also done a bit of on-camera reporting on wide range of different stories, most however have to with technology, the Internet and social media. I am most proud of work I have done working behind the scenes mounting our coverage of the War on Iraq and our own Mt. Everest Expedition, and setting up our DNG program.
And yes on a completely related note. I do love bokeh!
PHOTO NOTES: Decided not to use my SB-400 because of all the glass here, the SB400 isn't that flexible and I wanted to control the glare, admittedly I'm not good with lighting. This is actually a long exposure shot, so I had to stay still for a good 20 seconds. Used my iPhone to light my face. Had trouble focusing also because the focus assist illuminator only works with the center focus so I had to estimate focus.

One year ago today my grandmother passed away. I told myself I wasn't going to be emotional today, I was going to treat this as any other day. My grandmother used to do this to us on the anniversary of my grandfather's death. You just remember... I was there when she passed.
On a good and strange note, my mom started chemo on May 28 (my grandma's bday) and finished her final radiation treatment TODAY (the one year anniversary of her death) how strange is that? I believe it's grandma's way of saying "I've been there with you through this"

I watched something on TV once about the reason people choose the wine they do, their theory was it was all in the label.
Saturday night Chris and I stopped to get some wine and I go in and see this bottle, well I bought it, of course. :P
The wine was BAD, but the bottle ROCKS. lol

I'm feeling a great balance and harmony in my life. Everyday, I grow, renew knowledge, and I'm in touch with my health and environment.
A lovely day in Sydney. Sometimes I get to spend my lunchtime sitting on one of these.... when I'm lucky... :-)
