time for intermission. I wanted to create something simple that's nice for the kiddies but cool enough for adults to wear too.

this is on threadless, here.

#GreatSnowChallenge Saw this Xmas display featured on the Front Page of the Summit Daily from photographer B Linfield last week and wanted to get a shot for myself. Happy Holidays. www.danielmcvey.com

"The Patterson Project", conducted in 2015 in the Patterson Building, known as the “Grand old Lady” of Smith Street in Collingwood, was a street art project to raise money for the "Royal Children's Hospital".

Due to gentrification the perfectly distressed and worn floorboards, massive timber stairwell with ornate railings was renovated resulting in the removal of the artwork which made way for modern condos and apartments.

All of us grew up watching this every Christmas season. To all of the young ones out there and those young at heart from one of the best Christmas shows ever, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer". My 10 year old nieces and 9 year old nephew love it when this comes on every year and I like watching it with them. Burl Ives as a snowman gliding across the landscape just cracks me up.

Rudolph and Clarise meet for the first time.

Softened the edges a little to dull the CBS Eye.

Watch this space for the next in the series.... well not THIS space, cos this space is full of text.... but you know what I mean...

Oh... and yeah - it's another re-work... but hey... I've always wanted to re-work this shot...

Every Children's Dream...

I am currently busy compiling a collection of my favorite images from my archives. Perhaps someday I will get them published when the time is right.

This is a frame capture from HD video using the Canon EOS Rebel T6 camera, with the Canon 18-55mm zoom lens.

I caught this guy carrying his daughter on his shoulders, holding two signs that she (presumably) made herself. Notice the pencils as handles. Nice touch.

There's light at the end of the tunnel! It would seem our kawaii winking cloud/rainbow combo is still going strong at our local school. I'm not sure how inspiring it is but it's certainly better than a plain old shed. It's a little faded but I actually prefer it that way when it's bedded in a little. I wonder how the other bits we did are getting on...

Cheers
