Passo Giau

Dolomites

Sorry, I can't live without photography. I took this one at the end of august at the Passo Giau. I just arrived in the late afternoon, after a big storm. The air was very fresh and the light so wonderful: I couldn't go away without taking some photographs!

I want to return shooting soon. I am missing all the autumn colors.

Taken with my Nikon D3000 plus the kit lens 18-55mm II.

Yi et al. describe the biphasic, actin-driven movement of the meiotic spindle from the interior to the periphery of the oocyte. In the first phase, the formin Fmn2 (green) is recruited to endoplasmic reticulum structures that surround the meiotic spindle (red), where it nucleates actin filaments to initiate spindle displacement.
