View seen while driving out of a city car park entrance. The green traffic light is mounted high inside the roller door of the carpark, while the signs are on the brick building across the street.
A cool looking building in Hamilton Ontario. I love tripping through Hamilton. A city with lots of character.

Babel Fair.a women's clothing boutique in Elizabeth St in Soho (NYC) that closed down.I don't think it was due to the pandemic or George Floyd riots though.
In the Hebrew the word Babel comes from balal which means to "confound" or "confuse".
A trestle leading to the MacArthur railroad bridge is adjacent to an abandoned graffiti laden warehouse. Thanks for looking.
A bit of history on this one: The Ideal Bar was once the hangout of the Purple Gang during Prohibition. The building, located close to the Detroit River, was used for smuggling liquor from Canada.
In 2009, part of the film "Highland Park" directed by Danny Glover was filmed here.
The sub-basement and tunnels, used to store the liquor decades ago, are closed up or empty and the bar itself closed in the mid-80's.
Title from the brilliant band The Dead Milkmen
This abandoned 135,000 square foot manufacturing facility was built in three stages between 1901 and 1919. It’s on the National Register of Historic Places. The style is Romanesque Revival in red brick. The Mississippi River is just a few hundred feet to the left and behind the building. This is in the river north industrial district of Saint Louis, MO USA. Thanks for learning about it with me.

I knew starting out today that the day would be fairly busy and wouldn't leave much time for photography so I snapped this on my walk to the office.
I walk by this wall almost daily and the painting on the side of the building always catches my attention so it seemed a little silly to me that I had yet to photograph it.
Anyway, I hope everyone has had a good day.

Magic Mobile Homes Inc. in Albuquerque, NM has been in the manufactured housing business for over 40 years. They have sold, transported, set up and repaired mobile homes in the past but now limit their business to the sale of mobile home parts.
Now it looks like the business is up for lease.
Central Avenue. Albuquerque.
A warm foggy January night at the corner of Queen Street and Gore street.
The Victorian three-storey Barnes Block was built in 1902, by druggist Theron T. Barnes, and operated as a drug store from 1902-1969. The Barnes Block is representative of Victorian Romanesque architectural style with robust masonry, vibrant colour, contrasting window arches and sills, and a unique cornice. It also incorporates a distinctive gothic inspired corner turret and roof cupola topped with a druggist’s mortar and pestle.
Sunday morning walk around Austin, TX. I focussed on the street art of the moment and buildings in the North Lamar Blvd. area of Austin.
The view across from the Highline. Some outdoor carparks and a mix of apartment styles.
