Here's to the NFL Draft and the hope that Jerry Jones won't screw up as he's done for many, many years at some point throughout the course of a football season which starts with the draft...

And, for those who don't understand, being a Dallas Cowboys fan is a hard life! All the promise and expectation of being America's Team are only outweighed by all the disappointments that are just inevitable...Go Cowboys!!

This is my latest spin on the Union Jack flag, the brush stroke design is a bit more funky but seems to work well? ("I will leave that up-to you to decide!"), in short this graphic represents the patriotism and pride i feel for the country i was born in, but not the government that runs it.

Tamworth F.C Supporters Club (TFCSC) held a 'Hall of Fame' Evening at Tamworth Assembly Rooms (Sunday 18th September 2011) It was an evening of celebration for Tamworth Football Club, looking back at the history of the club from its first season in 1933 (which was at The Jolly Sailor ground) right through to the present day with a speech from their current manager Marcus Law who seemed inspired from the evening & realising just how much the club means to the town and its supporters. The evening could not have gone by with out much reminiscing about their greatest achievement which took place n 1989 when Tamworth won the F.A Vase beating Sudbury Town in a replay after the final at Wembley Stadium ended in a 1-1 draw.

The evening also gave the launch of a new book entitled "We are Tamworth from the Lamb" a book written by & for the fans, a fantastic book which gives a brief history of Tamworth Football Club,I was also pleased to be able to contribute to the book by donating eight photos & other memorabilia.

Pictured outside the Assembly Rooms just before we entered is my son Thomas (a season ticket holder of course ! )

Tamworth Football Club is based in the historic market town of Tamworth in the county of Staffordshire in the middle of England,& in the 2011/12 season play in the 'Blue Square' Conference Premier League, one league below League Two in the English Football League.

1933 was a very good year for football ! !

This photo was taken at the match between the Faroese Premier League teams Víkingur Gøta and FC Suðuroy. This was the second last match in the 2010 season. FC Suðuroy is one of the bottom teams and might have to play in the second best division next year. But nothing is settled yet. FC Suðuroy has now 22 points and B71 Sandoy has 23 points, AB Argir has no chance, they have only got 11 points. Nothing is settled in the top of the league either. HB Tórshavn has 51 points and EB/Streymur has 48, so next weekend is quite exciting. The result of this match was FC Suðuroy 0 - 2 Víkingur. The goals were scored by Finnur Justinussen and Hans Jørgen Djurhuus. The match was played on 17 October 2010 on Eiðinum football field in Vágur, Faroe Islands.
