Taken from Sandbach Junction signalbox where signalman W.J.Hamman was tolerant of yours truly being a probably too frequent visitor. He left railway employment shortly afterwards and went to work at Manchester Airport. He's still a good friend, though I didn't get a card last Christmas (2011) - anyone know if he's okay?
