Anand Namkeen, an established FMCG brand in North Gujarat wanted to develop innovative food packaging for a clear and concise identity of the brand.
For Anand’s specific category we created an exclusive product packaging design with the yellow colour to reflect the message of brand name itself. Anand means ‘happiness’ and yellow is known for symbolizing ‘happiness’.

FDA began an education campaign in 1981 to encourage Americans to limit their consumption of salt due to growing evidence of a link between sodium intake and hypertension. By 1986, certain food packages had to list their sodium content. Spanish language brochures were created to reach a wider population of consumers.

To make people aware of Earth hour day in 2009, ARLA changed the design on their milk cover and "switched off" more than 15 million packages. They changed the usual green-white striped design to what I consider a more fashionable black one.
This is the best good-looking swedish milk package I have ever seen. I wish they would always look like this.
I guess even in packaging design, the little black never goes out of style.

The first four inchies are made using embossed flashing tape, alcohol inks, and an archival ink "wash" that gives them the look of pewter. The bottom two foils are from the top of a Dannon yogurt container (extras for my food label inchies swap). This foil is much thinner and stippled and has a wonderful surface to play with. The turtle and seahorse are both original designs cut on my Pazzle machine. I covered the turtle's shell with glossy accents so that it is hard and shiny. (These inchies were difficult to photograph) August 2011
