My first HDR attempt.
Single image, just adjusted different exposures in Picasa 3 and saved in three different files, each with a different exposure before working them out in Photomatix, then back to another software (Photo Explosion).
I ain't sure if what I did was right though.
My special thanks to Rodelicious for the encouragement.
This is the head of a mythical creature represented by a piece of Mexican folk art that we picked up in San Antonio, TX a few years ago. For Macro Mondays theme "Multicolor". This image covers about 1.5 inches in width.
The Folk of Gloucester is a museum which is housed in two of the oldest buildings in the City of Gloucester, a Tudor merchant's house and a 17th-century town house. The timber framed museum in Westgate Street is devoted to the social history of Gloucestershire.
Bishop John Hooper is said to have lodged in the building the night before he was executed in St. Mary's square, near the cathedral in 1555.
These photos were taken at the event organised for children to commemorate the start of the revolution and war of independence of 1848/49. Traditional Hungarian folk music here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSPE6W6CE7A

With their book Folk, a journey through re-enchanted England, journalist Thomas Andrei and photographer Theo McInnes explore the renaissance of Druidism. Between climate change and societal slump, the journey is also an opportunity to reinvent a documentary approach, a delicate balance between visual necessity and narration.

I found these brave folk at first light this morning taking a dip in the deep cold waters of Plymouth. They are in fact practicing for a charity swim across our channel.
Let me know contact details if you find these 2 photos, chaps, and I'll figure a way to send the photo files and make a small donation. All the best, Chimes😊
