Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and we have Mr. Teddy Bear with us to celebrate Happy Teddy bear Tuesdays. And the theme at Crazy Tuesday is Folded or Creased Paper.
This is a perfect day for Mr. Teddy Bear to daydream about sailing on his blue paper boat. Mr. Teddy Bear has a passion for sailing and a passion for boats. So that is why he has so many paper boats ! Once he starts to fold the paper he can’t stop and he has to make several boats of the same color. And then he makes one extra just in case ! That is why Mr. Teddy Bear has more and more paper boats in his house. He can hardly wait to be able to take his boats outside and go on a romantic get away with Princess… Spring is definitely here so it will not be long until sailing is enjoyable again !
Meanwhile, I have to « sail » in a general direction of my living room office !See you later my friends !! And have a beautiful day !
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!
"""In the early 1500s, the first Jack-in-the-Box was made by a German clockmaker known as Claus. Claus built a wooden box, with metal edges and a handle that would pop out a cartoon devil or “Jack” after cranking the handle.
It was built as a gift for a local prince's fifth birthday. After seeing this toy, other nobles requested their own "Devils-in-a-box" for their children.
In the early 18th century, improved toy mechanisms made the Jack-in-the-Box more widely available for all children and not just royalty.
The Jack-in-the-Box has been used for centuries by cartoonists as a way to describe and poke fun at politicians.
The name Jack in the Box has also been used as the name of a fast food company, who began using the toy and the phrase as their mascot in the early 1950s."""

This is a paper folded version. I used 30x60cm duo colored Kraft paper (gold /red).
Final size: a little box 5x5x5cm, when the box is closed. When Jack pops out the height is 10cm ;-))

♬ - My money don't jiggle jiggle, it folds,
i like to see you wiggle wiggle, for sure,
it makes me want to dribble dribble, you know
riding in my fiat,
you really have to see it ,
six feet two in a compact ,
no slack but luckily the seats go back. ♬

Another one from the visit to the metal sculpture's place. I printed some images for my friend and when I looked at this one I asked myself "is this from the beach somewhere?" Until I realized it was the wrong way round. I took this in portrait mode but decided I like it better landscape.
This is polished metal and I liked the pale blue shades.

The mighty Clutha river was covered with fog which was spreading up valleys that flow down to the river. Aerial photography through a Perspex window at the rear of an 8 seater plane. Have a good Sunday.

This is the V.M 1934 zz rod by Vix motors... I just had to make a decent picture of it. Only one minor edit was required in PS, the bottom of the fold up hood was only partial shaded so my partner Tam fixed it, ain't she a peach.. ohh la la.

I had been had this holding fan all the time during the summer, so it has been became looks old.
Today's assignment for Macro Mondays is "crinkled, wrinkled, folded or creased". This is a book which was folded on the backside. Happy Macro Monday everyone!

I used the High Key setting in my camera for this shot.
The Upstate, NY area is covered in these lovely white asters. As the petals age, they fold under and fall off. Then the center, where the seeds are, dries and turns a deep brown shade. Birds will feed on the seeds in the winter.
