This is Kaiser's favourite new spot under the herb table in an upturned tin foil bag . He is now 17 years old so we have supplied him with a very comfortable garden chair but he still chooses to snooze in this bag !

Foiled = went in for a candid shot and got a spontaneous portrait instead. Colour re-edit of a black and white image I posted some years ago and this was captured in August 2015 in Glasgow, Scotland. Enjoy!
Done for Macro Mondays, Topic "Foil" Did some focus stacking to get detail across the foil, 7 images.
HMM- the #MacroMondays theme for 8/9 is #foil. This is the foil flavor pouch for chicken ramen noodles. It was one of a couple of possibilities.
Basically, I made a heart shape aluminum foil mold. Then I put the foil mold in the center of the pan and fried an egg inside it. Done! =D
心形鸡蛋制作法:把锡箔纸做成一个心形的模具,然后放在煎锅中间,里面浇少量油,最后把鸡蛋放在模具里煎熟即可 =P
*No eggs were dumped today. Actually, I don't like sunny like eggs. So I refried it and ate it after shooting. =P

I experimented with different backgrounds and jellies, and this turned out the best: aluminum foil and orange marmalade. Started out with pear jelly, since it's a pear-shaped dish, but it was too pale to stand out (although delicious!).
“Beauty deprived of its proper foils and adjuncts ceases to be enjoyed as beauty, just as light deprived of all shadows ceases to be enjoyed as light.”

created by fernando Gilgado (diagram in 4 esquinas n°14)
folded from a 30cm square of tissue foil paper
that's a great design as always with Fernando, with a marvellous folding sequence.
i folded it quite a long time but i didn't take a photo, done now.
For Macro Mondays Foil. I've been thinking about putting a subject in a drill and spinning it, so why not a wadded-up piece of foil? I photographed the foil without spinning first, but preferred the abstract quality of the spin on this one. Oh yeah, the red is from a flashlight with a 25A filter taped on.
A Macro Mondays submission on the topic "Foil". Some aluminium foil reflecting some garden flowers, with a few water drops on the foil.
In 1834, Grizzly McAdams decided he would build a cabin at the top of this hill. He loaded his wagon and started up. Numerous attempts failed to gain the summit. Grizzly's team of mules had no interest in pulling his load to the top. It was kind of a mule protest because Grizzly quit supplying carrots. Grizzly finally settled on a cabin in the valley. The only evidence of his failed attempts are the wagon wheel ruts left in the hillside and a few piles of mule dung.

Mum sent an Easter parcel containing some Lindt chocolate bunnies and mini foil-wrapped eggs. I don't think they even lasted as long as Good Friday! Anyway, the foil caught my eye before it went in the recycling.
