One thing about the new 7d ii, it really seems to be able to focus on the subject. This white on white must be really hard to distinguish.

Armadale Castle is a ruined country house in Armadale, Skye, former home of the MacDonalds. A mansion house was first built here around 1790. In 1815 a Scottish baronial style mock-castle, intended for show rather than defense, designed by James Gillespie Graham, was built next to the house.
After 1855 the part of the house destroyed by fire was replaced by a central wing, designed by David Bryce. Since 1925 the castle, abandoned by the Macdonald family, has fallen into ruin. The gardens around the castle have been maintained, and are now home to the Clan Donald Centre, which operates the Museum of the Isles.

As a new commune, it was created on January 1, 2017, pursuant to a resolution of the prefect of Haute-Savoie of July 14, 20163 with the union of the communes of Annecy, Annecy-le-Vieux, Cran-Gevrier, Meythet, Pringy and Seynod, becoming the town hall in the former commune of Annecy.

Today is a blue day at Color my world Daily but I’m skipping today’s color since we have another challenging and inspiring theme at Looking Close on Friday. And today we have to take a picture in black and white BUT where nothing is in focus. As you can see, my black and white out of focus picture is brought to you by love ! The only thing in focus is this tiny felt heart so I hope my picture will be accepted…and if it isn’t « artistically blurry » enough, there is always another week and another theme !!

My darling Snugs is completely immersed in focussed attention. I love this ability of cats where they wholeheartedly enter into this singleminded observation where no other distraction will impact or break it until they are ready. It probably was a bird or insect that was receiving this laser focus.

My camera was focused on the top of a facade across the street when I heard a shout. As I lowered the camera this is what I saw. I just love the spontaneity of urban life and a camera that shoots so quickly.
