The high tide and rough swells produce a foamy foreground just after sunset at La Corbiere, Jersey, Channel Islands.
When I arrived at this location, I thought the white stuff on the ground was snow. As I looked closer, it turned out to be bacteria foam. But in any case, the white foam added some contrast to the warm light in the morning . This was taken a couple of minutes after the sunrise.

Portwrinkle is a small coastal village in south-east Cornwall. It is at the western end of Whitsand Bay. It was traditionally a fishing village and the old 17th century walls of the pilchard cellars are still standing, although they have been incorporated into housing. The village has a harbour, and two beaches are accessible from it.

Here’s another Vertorama that’s so bright… that you’ll probably need sunglasses to fully appreciate it! LOL!!!
I’m a real sucker for foam… in my cappuccinos… in the bath… and at the beach! So when I saw this small patch of foam lying on the rocks at Maiden’s Cove a couple of weeks ago… I just knew that I would be taking a couple of shots of that when the light was right. Although the sun was still quite a few minutes from setting… the wind was so strong that the clouds were literally disintegrating before my eyes! As bright as the sun was at this stage… I had to shoot this scene immediately… or shoot it later without any clouds!
If you knew how much I love clouds in my compositions… then you’ll also know that the second option was not really an option for me! :)

another one of those "one glimpse shots"... passing such a phenomenon while working or on my way - going back to that point immediately and take the picture (if I have a cam ready, which I usually have these days).
