A plane of Flybe airlines just landed at Innsbruck airport from Southhampton and Edinburgh, Great Britain. The plane of Easyjet in the foreground will go to London Gatwick and Bristol. A very British pict, even the car is British ;-).

G-ECOD De Havilland Dash 8 is seen on a Summers Evening departure from DUB runway 28, this Airline flew from Dublin to Cardiff, Southampton and Exeter and sadly entered Administration on March 5th at 3am, 2000 jobs were lost and another name with a history went too
11-1-2014 - Flybe, Embraer ERJ-195-200LR. Trying to bag most of the fleet (photographic wise) before they more or less disappear from Gatwick from the end of March this year. "Echo, Echo" is seen here on stand 16 just before being pushed back for its return flight to Belfast.

Aircraft was built in 2007 and carried the test reg. PT-SNN. It was delivered to Flybe on 26-7-2007.

The UK commercial aviation industry has seen some well known airlines collapse in recent years, and sadly has seen another widely known carrier facing the same fate, with Flybe becoming the most recent to enter administration on 5th March 2020.
Generally, the aviation industry is currently in a slump as demand has plummeted owing to the Covid-19 coronavirus... Whilst the coronavirus has been partly blamed for the demise of Flybe, the carrier had been struggling for a number of years, only receiving a bail-out at the start of 2020 to keep the carrier afloat.
Only a year ago, Flybe became part of Connect Airways, a consortium comprising of Virgin Atlantic and Stobart Air alongside Flybe to create a much larger regional carrier to compete against British Airways and the established low-cost carriers, namely EasyJet. The plan was for Flybe to rebrand as Virgin Connect.
The closure of Flybe after the carrier entered administration ends 40 years of service of what was originally known as Jersey European, the carrier later expanding after acquiring BA Connect in 2007. Since the closure; Scottish carrier, Loganair have announced a raft of new domestic flights to replace routes left empty by Flybe.
Goodbye Flybe; having travelled with the carrier in 2016 to Jersey, the carrier was well known for its good customer service and friendly atmosphere... They will be missed!
Previously, Flybe operated 25 Embraer E-Jets, 11 were Embraer E175s and 14 were Embraer E195s.
Foxtrot Bravo Juliet Kilo was one of 11 Embraer E175s operated by Flybe, delivered new to the carrier on 19th December 2013 and she is powered by 2 General Electric CF34-8E5A1 engines. Following the collapse of Flybe, she is currently in storage at Manchester.
Embraer E175-200STD G-FBJK taxis towards Runway 23R at Manchester (MAN) on BE3127 to Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG).
