Now that the new season is arriving ....I was looking in the archives at some images of previous Springs . This was taken on a warm day in April .... when daisies and viburnum were painting a hillside near Mars Hill, No . Carolina .
Samantha sends a big "meow" of thanks to everyone for your kindness in visiting her photo ......we wish you a happy Sunday :-)
Hoping you are all enjoying your Memorial Day.
Please don't forget to stop and take a moment of silence at 3:00 local time in remembrance of all those we've lost and in appreciation of our freedom and all those who have served to protect it.
Most of all, wish for Peace!

I missed my annual Rainier trip this year, so here is one from last year when the wildflowers were at their peak in the summer. Taken shortly after sunrise. Canon 5D, Canon EF 17-40mm f4.0 L lens, gnd filter. More photos at www.EwertNaturePhotography.com

Part of the amazing display of tulips in St James`s Park. Left it a bit late this year but they still looked good.
When you enter St Stephen's Green, Dublin, from the Harcourt Street-Earlsfort Terrace entrance you can peer over a hedge to see this wonderful display of flowers in the back garden of the park-superintendent's house.
The house was built in the Queen Anne style in the late 19th century and goes with the job.
Taken on my iPhone 6s and processed in Lightroom.
