flickrstats must have gone crazy - it shows me almost 900 views which is a bit weird...
Thank you for the industrious 2017! Lets hope for a greater 2018! Thank you for the over 10 million hits!
It just turned 50.000 views.
Thank you everybody for watching my photos. Thank you Google and Flickr bots.
Ačiū.
For me, 15/08/2018 completed seven years on Flickr and below is a statistical summary. Many thanks to my followers and the occasional browsers. I appreciate you all for looking at my snaps, your comments and the 'faves'.
Total aggregate of .................. 2,488,116 views
All time daily average of ................. 973 views
Last year daily average of ............ 1,180 views
Highest day of ................................ 11,333 views on 07/05/2017
[a new all time high on 21/08/2018. Strangely views were at 38,899 and rising as I went to bed, but only showing 35,330 when I awoke! More proof as to the unrealiability of flickr stats?]
(the above image was shot by Augustas Didžgalvis and is of the photographers pool at the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships)
we all love stats to fill in that time between creative spurts!... if you've not already, go to www.flickr.com/help/stats/ to get set up....
Have a great Christmas all
I would like to thank all my Flickr friends that have visited and/or commented on my photosream.
Have a great day,
Ken
Photos shot on the old (1970s vintage) manual Nikkormat SLR camera, digitized to PictureCD when developed back in 2002. Not very high resolution scans, but then not always very high quality photos in the first place. Oh well.
Somehow, this got 300+ views in a single day. FlickrStats lists an unknown referrer. Whoever you are (I'm really curious, actually), thanks! Unless there is something shady happening.
Compare with Flickr Stats 07-16-09 and Flickr Stats 07-04-08.
For this year's stats, the peaks on the left are connected to my 2010 Sasquatch Music Festival photos (Saturday, Sunday, Monday). On June 5, 6, and 7, I posted one photo from each day of Sasquatch on my LiveJournal, linking to the respective KEXP Blog posts (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday), which caused that surge in views. Note that my photos were not used in the KEXP Blog posts.
The small surge in the middle, with a peak of 88 views on June 21, happened just after the weekend of both the Fremont Solstice Parade and Go Play NW 2010. Because of GPNW, I did not attend the Solstice Parade this year; however, it was clear that some people looking for parade photos were finding and viewing my photostream.
Finally, the spike on the right came after I posted my Go Play NW 2010 photos (Friday, Saturday, Quote Boards) and linked to them from the forum discussions. Curiously, although we had approximately 25 more people attending this year, the total surge over three days (not shown above, July 1 had 80 total views) is 1,274 views, less than last year's first-day peak of 1,566 views and total (five-day) surge of 2,701 views.

During the period leading up to this 18 million views milestone Flickr began a process on May 20th of making some changes to Flickr's operations as they sought to exit from Yahoo's servers and transition to Amazon servers.
This created some issues with stats in particular and many people complained of massive losses in total views and also a halving of daily view counts. In my case I lost more than 800,000 total views and did notice a substantial downturn in daily views.
Flickr became aware of the problem and appeared to make guestimates at how many views were lost from individual accounts and reinstated about 2/3rds of the lost total views. In the case of this account they reinstated about 700,000 views of the 800,000 plus actually lost.
For this reason its taken a month or two longer for this 18 million views milestone to be reached.
At the end of the day stats are just a guide anyway but it is concerning when Flickr can potentially make major errors which can impact the time consuming organisational work we do in our photostreams.
Eclipse seen through trees over my driveway. This is heavily adjusted in iPhoto -- the un-retouched photo just had the moon itself, but the trees became easy to see after flipping all the knobs randomly. I don't really know what I'm doing with the whole "digital darkroom" thing, but this is roughly true to how it looked to me as it was happening.
Someone has been busy viewing my photos again! Not as many views as the last day like this, but still a lot. Thank you!
Thank you. 30/05/2021 and Flickr has recorded that I have accumulated four million views! Here's the summary:
Total aggregate of ...................... 4,000,017 views
All time daily average of ...................... 1,119 views
Highest day of .................................. 35,330 views on 21/08/2018

It is interesting to see which of my photos are the most viewed on Flickr. The reasons can be many, and I am very pleased with the result :-) Thank you Flickr and Flickr viewers! ^^ /A
More than 10,000 views in a single day is unprecedented for us. There is no real explanation in the statistics for why this happened. I should mention that these are "screen captures" and not photos.
I don't usually post this sort of thing, but, wow. 3 million plus total views. Which probably just demonstrates that if you post a LOT of photos, you'll get a lot of views.Something like that, I'm sure.

If you are a Flickr Pro user and review your stats, you may be shocked and amazed at the results you get. Someone looked at one of my Disney World pictures from last year by doing a search for Disney World Frozen Lemonade. That's no big deal. The shocker is that not only was my image first on Google, but I had the first link on the search page -- even before tourist help websites like wdwinfo.com (which I used last year). This for a photo that, at last count, had been viewed 26 times (2 today)?!? I just don't get it.
I think I enabled the all-sizes link sou you can see the screenshot in detail. Click on the tag "frozen lemonade" to see the image in discussion.
