The transition between Sunset and Blue hour
An absolutely perfect ending to New Year's First Day.
The grand finale was a surprise sunset encore, that brilliantly lit up the sky, (in a sailor's favorite colours), as it contrasted against the blue hour light.

The sunset disappearing behind the Pitt Meadows Airport Control Tower.
This low setting light reflects off the plowed pathway that leads to the main runway.
An illuminated Cessna 172 is grounded on the tarmac in the snow.
If you look closely you may notice snow on the plane's tail and wings.
*Note the light shining through the rear tail light.
**The snow has since passed. catching up on late winter snowy scenes.

Nelle limpide giornate di ottobre, venendo da Radetzystrasse si può vedere (...) un gruppo di alberi nel sole. Il primo albero, che si erge davanti a quei ciliegi rosso cupo che non danno frutti, è così fiammeggiante di colori autunnali, è una macchia d'oro così smisurata da sembrare una fiaccola lasciata cadere da un angelo. E ora che arde, né il vento di autunni, né il gelo riusciranno a spegnerlo.

Il Lago di Carezza (in tedesco Karersee) è un piccolo lago alpino situato nell'alta Val d'Ega a 1.534 m nel comune di Nova Levante (BZ), a circa 25 km da Bolzano. È incastonato tra fitti boschi di abeti e si trova sotto le pendici del massiccio del Latemar, che si specchia nella sua acqua cristallina.
