My tiny desk and laptop where I do most of my photo editing. Thanks to everyone that stopped to view, comment and like this image.
52 times in a year... each one a gift, a magical moment, a lot of opportunities, a new chance, an unique time... it's a week.

I think the best time to take macro photos of leaves is either sunrise or sunset. The strong back-light brings out the details in leaf structure.
Thank you all ahead of time for your comments and faves.
A 'delightful' new sculpture at the Oeno Gallery's Sculpture Garden. The piece is called "After Rain" by Philippe Pallafray.
Every day since about 2 weeks ago, this squirrel wiggles over at mealtimes, hoping for a peanut, since figuring out that I pander to a Steller's jay trio with one nut apiece on the railing, and crush a few for tiny chickadees in the golden hour ... While Wayne the cat might be imagining Mssr. Squirrel as a meal himself, as observed today. A delicate balance, these joys, these anxieties, when you love wild critters.
I was busy lounging at my laptop watching space telescope updates when my wife walked in and said "You can get off your rear and help me make supper." An offer I have learned not to refuse.
These boots are actually funny erasers I found in a (Flying) Tiger shop... then I just added some old wall texture to the left boot...
The butterfly bush welcomes many pollinators. And some times you are not sure what kind of pollinator has stopped by and you might want to identify it. It can be a big 'Question Mark.' In fact, this type of butterfly is called a 'Question Mark.' It is an intriguing name for this pretty and interesting looking butterfly. A first time seeing this kind for me and a welcome sight. Always fun to discover who will stop by for a visit. All butterflies, and pollinators, are welcome.

FlickrFriday No. 70: #LightAsAFeather
Well, when I need to get my mind free from all the fuss, I like to spend a day near the water.
One other thing that makes you feel light as a feather is being in love!
Looking through a shop window that is already decorated for the Christmas holidays. Beyond the shop window, there are more windows: a car window, a store window across the street, and even an upstairs apartment window above the store.
This is part of an Exhibit at the Detroit Zoo in Michigan called “Zoo Boo” that contains thousands of carved pumpkins and Halloween decorations. It was great fun!
