Emergency flashlights were trendy in the 1980s and most houses built then had them installed as a matter of course - ours is still affixed to the wall in the living room (despite our house being built in 1976). I should probably see if it still works...

Well I would have you guess what this is but you'd never get it. I pointed the camera at my LED flashlight and this is what happened. It uses AA batteries and I left it on all night once and it's still going fine. Go LEDs :)
Single SB900 bounced vertically off the ceiling, positioned about 5ft from Ruth. Nikon 50mm 1.8 lens; tripod mounted etc. White door used as backdrop. Post in Photoshop. NB: Appearance of skin tones will depend on the quality of your monitor.
