In what is probably the first time CSX has leased new wide cab power and not Second Generation EMDs, the CREX 1512 blends in much easier with the other units in tow as it is seen leading Q008 through the S curves of Ridgefield Park. The train is not even a mile from its destination in Little Ferry, NJ.
Tim the Tank Car always felt out of place around other railroad cars. Tim eventually enrolled in a "feeling out of place" seminar led by Phil the Schienenzeppelin. Tim feels better about himself now!

If given the chance, I probably would not have been able to arrange all these rocks, driftwood and fall leaves in as pretty a display as what I found these. I was walking the shoreline of Georgian Bay when I saw this wonderful collaboration of nature's elements. Everything fit together naturally. We could learn a thing or two from nature.
With the UNESCO World Heritage site of Völklinger Hütte, the only preserved ironworks from the heyday of industrialisation, in the background, SaarRail 151 161 enters the yard at Völklingen with the Suppenzug (Soup Train).
These trains transport molten iron 17-km along the main line railway between the blast furnaces at Dillingen Hütte and the processing steelworks of Saarstahl AG in Völklingen.

Taking it easy after selecting dresses. Dresses are really the easiest items to wear, fitting me into one smooth shape. I do feel completely at ease here.
LSWR Drummond T9 4-4-0 30120 and Maunsell U Class 2-6-0 31806 glint in the sun as they round Safari Curve near Bewdley at the end of a 30742 Charters day on the Severn Valley Railway.
He was just getting settled again, when the other juvenile came up and forced him into the air again. This time, they chased him until he dropped the skin. While they were busy with it, though, he found a better piece of fish, and took it back to the pole. He was able to eat it in peace while they were distracted, and felt so good about the whole thing, he just had to do a little dance of joy. Have a fine Silly Saturday, and don't forget to set your clocks ahead tonight in North America.

After a lot of time and fiddling, I got this new exterior door to work in my dollhouse reno. Working on door knobs now.
This room is pretty much done besides the door knobs. The paneling is made from Bristol (thick mat) board and the trim is from Hobby Lobby. They stopped carrying these style pieces, but I had a lot of leftover from my reno 4 years ago. I bought enough then to do these 2 additional rooms.
This is the reason why I'm a craft supply hoarder...things are not always available when you want them later!!

This is actually 44 Laight Street in the Tribeca neighborhood of Lower Manhattan. According to StreetEasy, "Designed by Clinton & Russell Architects, the Renaissance Revival building was originally a bonded warehouse, later occupied by the pipe fitting maker, Grabler Manufacturing Company. Later converted to a condo in 2001, 38-44 Laight Street is located on a coveted cobble stone street."
To Mick Ronson who was a Gardener in Hulls East Park this sculpture is now in a garden named after him.

He achieved critical and commercial success working with David Bowie as one of the Spiders from Mars. A pair of grungy CF&E SD40-2 and a painted G&W pair were fitting right in with the drab, depressing town of Gary.
I can not imagine the sight of a Pennsylvania T1 ripping through here back in the 1950s. Back then I guess the neighborhood was a bit more cheery.

Amtrak 184 ducks under the last remaining Pennsy position light at CP Morgan in Chicago, IL with the westbound Empire Builder. I've shot this unit a few times here over the years, so its a fitting last train before the position light goes down that night.
The stone panels just need grouting and some final stones placed in the gaps and then I'll be ready to install!
Not spending a day in revenue service other than as a protect unit since coming onto the NJ Transit system in the 1990s, it is quite odd to see GP40-2 4300 on the east end of a revenue train. Pictured is the 4300 east out on train 1225 as it heads westbound over the Ridgewood crew team practicing in the Passaic River in Lyndhurst, NJ.
This was a photo of test fitting some pieces with tape. Working late at night with only a desk lamp!
We have a 3D star shaped lampshade that is just too tempting to ignore for this subject.

Daisy and me in a Belk Department Store fitting room today. Daisy acted as my fitting room attendant for the day, as I needed to find a nice semi formal outfit for a wedding I will be attending in October. (One of my nieces is getting married in Tennessee.) So we spent the day making the rounds, trying to find the perfect dress. It's so nice having Daisy to help me in the dressing rooms. Not too long ago, I would've been totally on my own...but not anymore. 😉
