Seriously though: I went to a talk recently about some recent findings to do with this. Feathers came before flight for sure, but there seems to be some significant changes in cell size and genome length that would have selected for smallness.
There are some ideas that feathers and the flapping motion may have been associated with catching prey, leading to pectoral development etc.
Another hypothesis is that flapping would have assisted prey avoid capture, leading to greater fitness of species exhibiting the ability to flap their primitive wings.
I am not allowed to drive yet, so NASA also brings me to my weekend fitness sessions. I feel better by the day.
I suppose trainees would jump through this tire, climb over the wooden wall, run up and over that ramp, and climb across the suspended lines at the top of the image.
I have not seen anyone using this. I have not found any information about this on the Sunnyvale Baylands Park website.
Update details: a City employee had told me this was called the "ropes course" some years ago but it is not in use.

This was about a week out from her competition in Vancouver, we wanted to try to shoot a couple fitness shots. In this one I tried something new by having her stand on a reflector so I could not only get a bit of a mirrored image (which I know I can do in post) and also bounce a little more light up on her legs. I usually don't shoot high key shots but I thought this one called for it.
She is in fantastic shape. A ton of hard work to get to this level. A real joy to watch her transform her body.
Between parties and visits, the primary summer activities have been maintaining fitness! Linus pierced Cy's tongue so anyone with Cy's socials (feel free to have if your characters have if your characters have insta/tiktok) would have seen it by now!

Personal work with model Caroline Anne - yogi and gymnast. Shot upstairs at the Peacock Gym, East London.
Setup: Key light is Profoto D1 through a beauty dish, with a grid, to cmaera left. The backlight is another D1 through a 60cm square softbox (a zoom reflector in a couple of shots), mounted at the very back of the room, and aimed down at the floor. The clip lights are a B1 each side of Caroline, one with a zoom reflector (back left) and the other with a strip softbox (back right).
Photoshop: Bit of cleanup to remove things from the walls/background etc, played with lookup tables, and hue/sat colorise adjustment layers, plus a bit of desaturation. Burned around the edges to focus attention on Caroline. Some work on skin with curves to add a bit of sculpting.
Not very good setup shot here.
