why does flickr seem to take away alot of the dark area quality in my images :(

I met up with Jay at First Class Fitment today and decided to go out for a quick shoot during the show. I gathered up a few friends and went scouting for locations around the airport and found this cool old house. It was such a nice afternoon out and made for some great photos and great times with friends. This was also my first shoot with the D700 and made me glad I made the switch to full frame.
Finally got my camera back woot! The whole circuit board had to be replaced...
Anyways here's a shot from First Class Fitment earlier this year. This black G had some serious presence at the show... one of my favorites.
