Dangar Falls shot with a Sigma 16mm fisheye lens the corrected with Fisheyehemi Phototoshop plugin. Normally this would be a very distorted image but this plugin does a great job of flatening the image.
The Dangar Falls is a cascade waterfall located across the Bielsdown River about 1.2 km (0.7 mi) north of Dorrigo in the New England region of New South Wales, Australia.[1] The falls are small, picturesque, and are a popular photographic subject.[2] For a short time after rain they are quite spectacular.[3] There is an attractive picnic spot which offers excellent views. It is possible to climb down the banks and walk along the river below the water falls.
Got myself a cheap fisheye conversion lens that screws onto my 35mm 1.8 lens, I took this set at work to try it out..........pretty darn FUN for only $50!

Square format image taken with a Nikkor 16mm fisheye looking up under a rotting log. I really like the rich warm colours on this log.
Exposure was for the background … of which most has been removed by this crop … and then a couple of speedlights used to boost the shadows. This may explain the somewhat long exposure.
I quite like using flash to fill in the shadows and give more clarity to the gills on the mushroom.
