Hainan Airlines bumped me up to business class. The food was awesome, and the seat very comfortable indeed. :-)

The duck liver pate was revolting and, even if you like the flavour (I didn't) it was so strong it would drown anything else out afterwards. The prawns had no flavour at all.

Peru Day 05 Andean Explorer 360 by TravelShorts

The fifth day of my trip to Peru and Easter Island.

The Andean Explorer train from Puno to Cusco, travelling in first class.

The Andean Explorer runs on the route between Cuzco and Lake Titicaca (Puno) uniting two of Peru's top tourist destinations. Exquisitely decorated in the manner of the great Pullman trains of the 1920's, the Andean Explorer boasts a full fleet of refurbished coaches. An open-air Observation Bar Car adds to the enjoyment along this beautiful route, and provides the opportunity for magnificent photographs of the scenery.
