Well, sort of... The Cradle of Aviation Museum features an unusual aircraft cross-section; the port side featured the Boeing 747 old-style wall panels and overhead bins, before TWA replaced them with more modern decor. The passenger service units are in the ceiling! The cart is TWA vintage 1970s, judging from the shiny dark laminate.

I decided to catch up with some sleeps after breakfast; and after a good couple of hours in the fully flat bed (with real mattress), I was woken up with the aroma of coffee. It's time for lunch!
It was part of my on-board ritual during the food service to watch food show by celebrity chefs on the TV to enhance (and elevate) the whole dining experience (I watched Heston Blumenthal on board SQ and Emirates First Class before; Gordon Ramsay at Masterchef onboard CX First).
This time, I have chosen a very special documentary called Spinning Plates, which focuses on the daily life of 3 different chefs, including the one and only Chef Grant Achatz from the cutting-edge, 3 Michelin Alinea in Chicago.
Chef Achatz started his career by working at the kitchen of one of the world's most influential living chefs of our time, Thomas Keller. This experience has profoundly changed his life as it carved a path to superstardom with his own restaurant. With much of enthusiasm and hard work, Chef Achatz continues to battle in the kitchen as the best chef in the world amidst his own battle with tongue cancer. Despite all the ordeal, his Alinea Restaurant achieved a remarkable 3 Michelin star in Chicago, beating the legendary Charlie Trotter. In fact, Alinea continued to rise and consistently ranked in the Top Ten of the annual S. Pellegrino's World's 50 Best Restaurants. It was an amazing documentary, a perfect company to my delectable lunch.
Shown here on the TV screen is Chef Achatz with his former mentor, Thomas Keller.

Lincoln to Nottingham – a Midland railway
A bit of First Class luxury on the Sprinter working home from Nottingham to Lincoln - a short-lived respite from the Class 156 'cattle trucks'!
The Class 222 Meridian units normally work the semi-fast services between Nottingham and London St Pancras, alternating with the HSTs, so this was an unusual working. I had worked out the diagram from seeing the unit work the 13:29 to Lincoln, so treated myself to the third of four First Class journeys home that week!
For a few days this winter, all four of the ex-Hull 4-car units were pressed into service on local Sprinter workings between Leicester - Nottingham - Lincoln, much to the delight of regular passengers, some of whom indulged in the de-classified First Class coaches! There was a Sprinter shortage as a few units had been sent to Leeds Neville Hill for tyre turning (wheel flats - leaves on the line).
I spent two years as a commuter on the Lincoln – Nottingham line. The railway opened in 1846 and was the first line into Lincoln, running into St Mark’s station. Although the modern railway seems somewhat soulless, I have tried to capture some pleasing moments from my many months of commuting.
You can see a random selection of my railway photos here on Flickriver: www.flickriver.com/photos/themightyhood/random/

Right after our flight to Zurich take off, I immediately got the breakfast, which was also booked online from the Book the Cook menu, while everyone else preferred to catch up with some deserving sleep after all the ordeal.
I settled for Nasi Lemak (Malaysian coconut rice dish), which was garnished with fried chicken, peanuts & anchovies, omelette and sambal. It was surprisingly delicious and a great way to start the trip.

The Cosmo Suite is very stylish and contemporary, thanks to its choice of color: white, Tiffany & Co's green and elegant oak wood panel. Most F Class on other airlines' A380 fleets usually have 3 bay windows, but Korean Air Cosmo Suite on its B777 fleet has 4, which makes it appears brighter and more spacious.
