Are you ready to stand before God if you died today?
The Bible declares that one day you will die and then stand face to face with God to be judged. Hebrews 9:27 reads, āAnd as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.ā Nothing in your entire life could be more important than being ready for that day, because it will determine whether you will spend eternity in heaven or in hell.
This judgment will be based on a personās righteousness, which means to be absolutely perfect and without sin. The Bible says in Acts 17:31, āHe hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordainedā¦ā The man spoken of in this verse is Jesus Christ. This means that your righteousness must match that of Jesus Christ. Can you make it through your entire life without committing one single sin? Jesus Christ did, and He is the one that you will be compared with at your judgment.
On the cross, Jesus took your sin upon Himself. He died a death that you deserve to die and paid the debt that you owe to God. He paid it in full. But you must place your faith and trust in Him if you want to take advantage of that great gift and be free from sin and the punishment of sin forever. Here is how you can do that today.
First, accept the fact that you are a sinner, and that you have broken Godās law. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: āFor all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.ā
Second, accept the fact that there is a penalty for sin. The Bible states in Romans 6:23: āFor the wages of sin is deathā¦ā
Third, accept the fact that you are on the road to hell. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 10:28: āAnd fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.ā Also, the Bible states in Revelation 21:8: āBut the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.ā
Now that is bad news, but hereās the good news. Jesus Christ said in John 3:16: āFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.ā
Jesus Christ: fully-God and fully-man, without sin, died on the cross a death that he did not deserve in your place. Three days later he rose from the dead defeating sin, death, and the devil forever.
Romans 10:9 & 13 says, āThat if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved⦠For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.ā
God requires you to repent of your sin (a change of mind toward God, sin, and self) and put your faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Realize your good deeds will not save you.. that is what religion teaches; the outward appearance. God looks on the heart.
..for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
1 Samuel 16:7
You cannot bribe a Holy God with good works or sacraments.
Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. John 14:6

Jesus paid the price for your sins, will you accept or reject Him?

Jump off Hawaii, at South Point. Funny, here's the spot to jump from, along with a ladder to climb back up from the water. But, there's a warning message not to jump. But, there's also rescue supplies. Mixed messaging, along with "Aloha", a salutation as well as a greeting.
