Snow White is now fully deboxed. She is posed standing, supported by a Kaiser doll stand. She is photographed from various angles, in diffuse natural light.
She is basically the 2013 Classic Snow White doll, with the addition of a sound mechanism in her body. She is also wearing a much more movie accurate version of her iconic Princess gown. The skirt is still the same length, shorter than the movie version. She is also without her cape, and the bow is positioned at the side of her head rather than at the top. My doll has a lopsided hairdo, which I attempted to straighten out, but the stiffness of the curls prevented me from fixing it with just my fingers. The only change to her face is a slightly lighter lip color. Her painted on panties are a darker shade of yellow. The change in costume makes her look much more elegant and royal than the Classic doll. The set also includes a movie accurate rags dress that I have not yet tried on her.

My new Singing Cinderella doll is now fully deboxed. She is posed standing, supported by a Kaiser doll stand. She is photographed from various angles, in diffuse natural light.
The 2013 Singing Cinderella doll is basically the 2013 Classic Cinderella doll, with several major changes. One is that she is wearing the pink ball gown that is fairly movie accurate, but has been covered in glitter. She also comes with her maid dress, with apron, and a Gus figurine.
A second change is that she has her hair down from her usual bun. This is so she looks like what the character was like before she was enchanted by her Fairy Godmother, and is appropriate for the outfits that come with this doll. She has very large curly bangs in front, and large curls at the ends of her hair. The front bangs are still fairly soft despite having some hair product, so I was able to comb it to make it neater. The curls at the ends of the hair are very stiff, so I haven't yet tried to even out the right side, where some of the curls are out of place. Her big blue eyes and bright blonde hair with front bangs remind me of Barbara Eden in I Dream of Jeannie.
The third change is that she now has a sound mechanism in her body. There is a small sound button in the back of her neck, the sound comes out of heart shaped opening in her upper back, and the batteries are in her lower back. There is also a on/off power switch on her left side. The song is shortened by one verse from the original singing Cinderella doll, and the sound quality is not as crisp and clear. But the entire song is sung in one clip, rather than multiple clips, which is a definite plus, and the button is very reliable.

My 2013 Classic Belle 12'' Doll has been completely deboxed. She is standing, supported by a Kaiser doll stand (not included with the doll), and is photographed from various angles.
The 2013 Classic Belle doll has many differences from the 2012 model, but looks very similar, and is a somewhat improved doll. The only major change is to her legs, from fully articulated hard plastic legs to rubber legs with internal knee joints and fixed angled feet. There are a minor changes to her hair, face, dress and shoes. She is also missing her gloves. The features that haven't changed are her head mold, torso and arms.
Her head mold is identical to last year's doll. Her face is almost identical, with some subtle changes. Her green eyes have gotten darker, with the elimination of the ring of light green around her pupils, leaving just dark green around her pupils. Her pupils a touch larger. She has three short thick lashes over each eye, and silver eyeshadow, as before. Her eyebrows are a darker shade of brown, but the same thickness and length. A small be very significant change is the smoothing of the arch in her eyebrows, so they no longer have an ''evil'' wiggle. She has a short straight nose. She has gentle open mouthed smile, with a thin upper lip and full lower lip, painted in bright pink. Both her nose and mouth are unchanged from last year. Finally she has heavier application of pink rouge on her cheeks. Her face is just a beautiful as last year's doll, but is now friendlier looking with the changes in her eyebrows and eyes.
Her brown hair is medium length, but is shorter and much less voluminous than before. Gone are the two curls dropping down the sides of her face. There is a small bun at the top, as before. There is a small ponytail coming out of the back of the bun, whereas last year the ponytail was longer and lower down her the back of her head. The bulk of her hair is gently curving, and is gathered up in a large curl at the end, which is gelled to keep it in shape and in place. Other than the curl, her hair is soft and smooth. Rather than reaching her waist and spreading out beyond both her shoulders, her hair is now reaches the middle of her back, and is contained within the width her shoulders. It is much neater looking and manageable, as long as the curl at the end is not disturbed.
Her golden yellow satin dress is similar in design to the 2012 version, but there are some significant differences. The gold organza shoulder straps are very similar, but now they are wrapped lower down her shoulders, thus being more movie accurate. I had to adjust her left strap to make it lower, to match the right strap. Her bodice is now glitter free, but has the same design, with a V-shaped waist. The skirt is now much less voluminous, and has a pattern of glittering gold roses, instead of the gold glitter being sprayed in a random pattern. The gold organza decoration around the middle of the skirt is now only in the front, whereas the 2012 doll had the decoration go completely around the skirt. But as with last year's doll, the ruching is only in the front. At least the golden rose pattern continues to the back of the skirt. The skirt is about the length as before, but since the 2013 doll is on her tippy toes rather than her feet flat on the floor, the skirt doesn't quite reach the floor. The new dress holds its shape much better, due to the glitter giving the skirt more stiffness. The old dress is more movie accurate, and its volume is very impressive, but it requires a petticoat (which is not included) to keep its shape.
Her shoes are flats as in the old doll, but they are a little shorter, and a paler shade of yellow. With her fixed angled feet, she should have gotten high heels, as the 2011 and earlier dolls had.
She no longer has any accessories, as her full length gold satin gloves are gone.
Her body is fully articulated in the arms, but now has the rubber legs of 2011 and earlier dolls, which has internal knee joints and fixed angled feet. Her hip joints allow her to sit down with her legs together and her back straight up, unlike the 2012 doll with the fully articulated but defective legs. But her knees can only bend about 40 degrees, so her legs stick out when she is sitting. The leg joints are also much stiffer, so she is in a much more natural position when placed standing in a Kaiser doll stand. Her angled rubber feet also make her about 1/4 inch taller than the 2012 doll, who had flat feet.
The packaging for the dolls is much improved. The box art has been completely redesigned, with beautiful decorations unique to each Princess (actually for each movie), and a cameo of the animated movie character. The boxes are the same height and width, but are 1/2'' flatter, making them smaller and lighter. The packaging restraints are simplified, especially with a reduced use of T-tags, so the deboxing is quicker and easier, and there is less damage to the doll. Belle's box has rose and Cogsworth images with a yellow background.

The 2013 Classic Cinderella doll has many differences from the 2012 model, most of which are improvements in my view. She has the same head and almost the same face as the 2012 doll, but her hair and dress are significantly changed. She is also wearing light blue flats, and not her iconic glass slippers. As with all the new Classic Princess dolls, she has rubber legs with internal knee joints and fixed angled feet. There are also minor changes to her headband, choker and gloves. I like this doll much better than last year's, and she represents the movie character much more faithfully.
Her head mold has remained the same, but there are some subtle changes in her face. She has eyes that are a lighter shade of blue, glancing to her left. She now has four eyelashes instead of three over her left eye, the right eye still has three lashes. She has silver eyeshadow, as before, and light brown eyelashes that are mostly hidden by her front bangs. She has a thin, straight nose. She has a thin upper lip and full lower lips, in a slightly open mouthed smile. Her lips are now a hot pink color (possibly shading towards salmon), instead of the bright purplish pink lips of last year's model. Her pink rouge is applied more heavily on her cheeks. The changes make her look more mature, and closer to the movie character. Her face is lively, cheerful, confident and beautiful. She has pale flesh colored skin that is smooth but not shiny.
Her hairstyle is back to the more conservative 2011 style. Gone is the solitary curl on her left side and the smurf shaped bun. Her front curly bangs are now larger, and her bun is fan shaped, and a very short pony tail sticks out the back of it. This style is simpler and more elegant than last year's style. There doesn't appear to be any gel used in her hair, so it is soft to the touch. Her hair is her usual light blonde color, although her movie character has strawberry blonde hair.
Her gown is much improved over the 2012 model, in looks and movie accuracy. Her bodice and skirt are made of pale blue satin with a silver swirling pattern that incorporates heart and 'C' shapes. The decoration is covered in a thick layer of silver glitter, that sheds easily and profusely. She has short puffy white satin sleeves and large round peplum of unhemmed white satin. She has 3/4 length what satin gloves, that are shorter and looser fitting than last year's. Her black satin choker is tighter on her neck than last years, so it stays in place. It is sewn closed in the back, so is not removable. Her blue satin headband is a little darker and shorter than last years, with a longer elastic band connecting the ends in the back.
Her shoes are pale blue flats that have the same construction as the ones that Mulan normally wears. Their soles are rounded upwards at the toes. This design looks better on a doll with angled feet, than would the 2012 style flats, which had very flat soles. However, she would look much better with the clear high heels that the 2012 doll wore, that matches the iconic glass slippers that are so important to the fairy tale.
Her body is fully articulated in the arms, but now has the rubber legs of 2011 and earlier dolls, which has internal knee joints and fixed angled feet. I would rather that they fixed the problems with the fully articulated 2012 legs, but when exposed the rubber legs do look a lot better, with the disadvantage of being much less posable. Also the glitter tends to stick to the rubber legs, and it cannot simply be brushed off.
The packaging for the dolls is much improved. Firstlook is al acht jaar hét gaming-event van de Benelux waar traditioneel begin oktober de nieuwste games, gadgets en hardware voor het eerst aan de Nederlandse en Belgische gamers getoond worden.

In 2015 staat Firstlook aan de vooravond van de grootste metamorfose in haar achtjarig bestaan. Firstlook wordt Firstlook Festival: een driedaags evenement met een dag- en avond programmering plus een internationaal eSports toernooi met een prijzenpot van tienduizenden euro’s.
Bij Firstlook Festival blijven de premières van de nieuwste games, gadgets en gear het hart van het event. Daaromheen zal de zeer brede community die gaming kent, de ruimte krijgen om haar passie voor zaken als eSports, cosplay, Indies, live streaming, anime en retro te kunnen uiten en delen.
