one of the very first photos I took after moving to Vienna. When I saw the Südbahnhof in the fog on some dark November day, i knew this was exactly the right place for me.

While many got their Silberra Film a while back I've been waiting for sometime so when I got the notice it had shipped I waited. Surprisingly it only took a couple weeks to arrive. And here's the first roll, their Pan100 stock. I'm rather impressed with the tonality, fine grain, and sharpness!

And behind/within these windows lie a bit of the oxymoronic feelings I was inhaling the entire weekend . . . a "peaceful, idyllic" scene of a cow grazing in a green pasture in rural Vermont, with a contrasting poster on controversial issues . . . (see bumper stickers below for more protests) . . . hmmmmm . . . a great dichotomy, don't you think? maybe that's what I was sensing? Time will tell . . . just first impressions . . . .

2015年太平洋颱風季第12個強烈颱風蘇迪勒直襲台灣，17級的強風吹出台灣不少問題，位於山坡上的烏來再次受到大雨侵襲、數不清的路樹被吹倒、全台多區停水停電，直到現在颱風已過，各處還是可以看到強颱所帶來的災情。拍攝這張照片時正是颱風過後的一週，河堤公園堆滿了由上游沖積所遺留大量的樹枝，其中更有不少樹足足超過我雙手展開環抱的寬度，此時心想雖然人類已站在生物鏈的頂端，擁有大量的科技與成就，但面對天然災害我們仍需謹慎，因為我們永遠不知下一場颱風會帶給我們多少的災害。
另外，此次蘇迪勒颱風也讓台北101風阻尼器首次產生旋轉式的擺動，其擺動幅度超過一公尺。

Kenyon's work can be classified as emotional existing within a realm of simplicity. Although she was young at the time of her death, she published four collections of poems during her lifetime, namely: From Room to Room, 1978, The Boat of Quiet Hours, 1986, Let Evening Come, 1990 and Constance in 1993.
She also spent time translating Anna Akhmatova's poems from Russian to English, which was then published in 1985 in a collection entitled Twenty Poems of Anna Akhmatova. She considered translation an art which she believed every poet should "try her hand".
Her poems are laced with images of the nature reflected from Eagle Pond Farm, in New Hampshire, where she resided with her husband, Donald Hall. However, on the flip side, much of her work also mirrors her battle with depression, which plagued her most of her life.
Kenyon, who was New Hampshire's poet laureate, died in April 1995 of Leukemia. Her last work, entitled New and Selected Poems, was released post humously in 1996.

Exhibiting his distinguishing facial features, a hooked-nosed sea pig (aka a grey seal) makes a good first impression on the beach-goers along Nauset Outer Beach.
The grey seal's Latin name is "Halichoerus grypus" meaning "hooked-nosed sea pig."
They are a favorite food of the great white shark. With seals numbering around 15,000 in southern Massachusetts, the National Seashore has become the go-to hunting ground for white sharks.
