Here's the kitchen, it's a mess. Hope to do a complete rehab on it – but not for many years. Until then I will paint soon (it's currently a mish-mosh of wood tones and blues).
This is what happens if you don't adequately chop your curly endive before adding it to Italian wedding soup. As mom shows, it hangs out of your mouth in an unattractive strand.

This is our kitchen. FYI: We did have upper cupboards until June. The table folds out for when we have company. Typically there are two stools that tuck neatly under it (we're all about compactness in this apartment!), but I found a chair more comfortable during my pregnancy.

As you can see, the snow is level with the front porch. And, closer to the street, you can see how much of the No Parking sign has been buried in snow. This ought to give a good idea of the amount of snowfall we had here yesterday.
