These are photos of my first car; a 1966 Mustang Fastback 2+2 with custom pearl metallic paint and striping. A drunk driver rear-ended me in 1981 (or may have been '80, can't recall for certain) and the car was totaled out.

This is the only part I have left of my 2003 Tahoe... Just FYI, I didn't wreck her or anything. My parents sold her because apparently she was too thirsty all the time. She was so good to me and will be forever missed.

my first new car, bought at the end of august in 1997. it's now being driven by a young woman who will be lucky to have as many adventures as i did with it.

i remember wanting this car so badly. it's funny how after 10 years things change. at any rate, i'm sad to see it go.

A Vauxhall Nova 1.3 SR, bought brand new a few weeks after I passed my driving test. A great first car, and great fun to drive too; it cornered beautifully, and the Pirelli P2000 tyres kept it glued to the road whatever the weather, reassuring if you put it into a bend too fast, which I did on several occasions in my early days of motoring. When I first had it, it ran on 4-star petrol, but I had it converted to use unleaded after about a year, which cost it a bit of its oomph.

All of that said....the vacuum unit on the distributor used to fail regularly every three years, and by the time I sold the car in 1996, it was already showing rust pitting on the lower part of the body, beneath the grey section. Possibly one reason why you don't see many around these days. That, and the fact they became the car of choice for a lot of boy racers, so probably ended up being written off in accidents...

The pink Micra has always been my dream first car. Finally I have one! I only learnt to drive a few years ago and I've had my full license now for 5 months.

1975 Honda CVCC. folks basically gave it to me, and i paid insurance and maintenance. drove it from 82-84.

i replaced the engine, removed the tranny twice. did the shocks, cv joints, brakes, adjusted valves, rebuilt the carb (with wally). i learned about cars.

the thing could also pull a third gear scratch.

Bought this in 1958 at the price of $125.00. Straight six with three on the column. Wonder what the value of this is in 2013?
