Rich and I had been out since six o'clock, and I needed to get to work. As we returned to the car, we passed the ruins of a building being demolished after it burned. I had said something to Rich about wishing I could get in there, and all of a sudden, we found a back entry that had been left open. No time to spend there. Damn!!!! Couple of quick shots and away we went.
Etta & training dummies ... you don't want to see the background too closely😁
Daily Dog Challenge: Out & About in her Rashie ... perhaps she should have been wearing a rashie since she was a pup. We did try sunscreen when she was a pup but it was too greasy.
The local First Aid Training use the space around the Rural Fire Station for outdoor training. Etta was interested in the 'new' things in her environment. The 'arm' on the saw horse is a bit gruesome up close😳
1944 Jungle First Aid kit with some original items including carlisle bandage, insect repellent, burn ointment, mercurochrome, iodine swabs, bandages, halazone tablets (not shown).
I regularly see the empty pouches for around $25 (or more), wrapped Carlisle Bandages for $10, bottle of repellent for $8, tourniquet for $8 to $10, iodine swabs $3 each, period bandages (elastoplasts) $2 to $4 EACH, etc. I rarely see the boric acid ointment or the mercurochrome at all.
I have never seen two of these with the same contents. I suppose that would be natural for the field, though I am sure there is a prescribed inventory.
Light saving equipment; my best friend in the studio.
Mitt bidrag till Fotosöndag och veckans tema «attiralj».
My contribution for this week's theme «paraphernalia»; for the Swedish photo group Fotosondag.
Photo taken for the May 23, 2022 Macro Mondays theme: medical.
I like the old glass bottles better, but at least the fluid in this one is decolorized (and more concentrated than it was originally, because this bottle has been around for quite some time).
The bottle diameter is approx. 1.25" and the label height is about 1.75".
