Innovative Flying Trapeze From Singapore -

Clad in collared red leotard, complete with 3 black buttons, the juvenile is all ready. Pitching on a Sea Hibiscus plant, he grabs hold of the adults as they swing perilously in the air. Bravo! A high-flying aerial show without any safety harness, I clapped my hands and watched in suspense.

A sure sign of spring. The firebugs are out and running again.

In french, we name these bugs "gendarmes", literally cops :)

These two ones are having a bit of fun :)

L'accouplement se passe au début du printemps. Fait curieux, l'accouplement peut durer 30 heures.

Plein de gendarmes dans le jardin !!!!

Lots of firebugs in the garden !

Cimice in giardino !

This looks like group ***. The mild winter did not deplete their population. Will be an army once they eclose. I think they are Pyrrhocoris apterus, Gemeine Feuerwanzen in German, Firebug in English.
